Zed

bro this anime is so beautiful

Jackson Seales

Love the music for this show, I enjoy the show purely for the vibes.

Dylan Cromche

fun fact, the manga and show were actually named after the ending song

Xaniss

This show is just one hell of a vibe, great animation, music, interesting story and there is action after a while too

Angel Lara

Fun fact: The writer of the manga stated publically that they loved Creepy Nuts (the band) and when the band learned that the writer was gonna make this into an anime the band reached out to them and told them "Hey, want our music for your anime"

Velox'

Nazunaaaaaaaaaaaaaa <3

C loewen

Plz check out "Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon" Openings, its such an amazing anime and 1 of my personal favorites

Manie Gudak

This opening and ending are fire. Just a cool fact for you, the author is a huge fan of Creepy nuts(the band that sings both songs) and the manga is actually based on the ending song which was released around 2018

Damian

I would definitely like to see Luke react to Call of the Night, I really enjoyed this anime from beginning to end and the music is amazing

Misteryk

Sooo... when Creepy Nuts first take reactions?

ElectricAnt

There are vampires, but mostly it's about how awesome night is, hence the title

Irvin Martinez

Where is the Kuroko No Basket opening reaction!?

Fernando

Finally! I’ve been asking for this! So glad Luke liked it. Now all you gotta do is react to the Shadows House openings and endings!

NanoRyuusei

I love this anime and the OP/ED SO MUCH :3

kiwi

YESSS!!! This anime is one of my favourites of 2022, and I think you should definitely react to it. It's an absolute v i b e, all lowercase, double spaced, in italics. It has THE best soundtrack of any anime of 2022, and possibly of any anime ever.

Horus

He has already reacted to Danmachi Openings

Jason Tam

This popped up in my notifications and I had to stop what I was doing to watch this. The story is so good. The music too! If you ever watch this, its not long, only 12 episodes (hopefully more to come). I don't recall any nudity involved.

Kager

The steins:gate stream was supposedly on friday, no? why isn't the vod here yet?

kiwi

And yes, more Creepy Nuts please. They're one of my favourite bands from Japan and every single one of their songs is as much of a vibe as these two.

Abe J

This may be the first one that I knew the ending more than the OP.

Suhiro-senpai

Probably hasn't been taken care of yet because he was off the internet this weekend

ren_real

IMO Call of the Night and Bocchi the Rock are definitely two of the best adaptations of manga to anime from last year. Chainsaw man was probably the only anime I looked forward to more. When Call of the Night got an anime announced, I was so excited and knew that the studio had to do something to make the nights look more beautiful than most anime, and my expectations were blown away. Not to mention other aspects of the manga that were adapted wonderfully.

taco-man

this was probably my favorite anime last year, animation 10/10 music 1000000/10 story 100000000/10 loved it plz watch it

Christopher Thomas

Another day of waiting for Gintama endings

Yami Youssouf

yep ur bassically there on what the anime about its relatively new , the aesthethics in this anime are nearly unrivalled. The anime also has an insert song by creepy nuts that you should also check out

Adam

This would be a great anime to react to. It's short and sweat and different enough from what you've already seen to add some diversity to your anime watching experience

Cablemonkey

Agreed, the anime has a great vibe, and would be a good watch. The end song chorus was stuck in my head for weeks when I first watched it. The animation is gorgeous and does a great job in letting you feel what the protagonist is feeling. It’s also a nice change from the isekai you’ve been watching on twitch. Yes, it’s got its share of cheekiness, but it’s not really as in your face as a lot of others are these days. The more angular character design contributes to that feel.

die kokosnuss

Anohana op and ed would be awesome

Karen Porter

I can't figure out where to watch this anime. Help please?

slysyviking

Actually I feel like this op reflects pretty well the anime, the energy matches pretty well, and the cheekiness in the op and ending is pretty 1:1, but not exaggerated at all, and what there is, esp in the beginning serves to further the plot.

You should definitely check out some more creepy nuts they have also been on The First Take as well.

syaimaral

The show is so chill. Should react to the ost song too. Loss time also by creepy nuts. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MauRFgX21Ek

Arcado

Please react to DON'T TOY WITH ME, MISS NAGATORO Op/Ed

Daniel Mata

I watched this anime because in the manga, it gets way cooler but right now its okay, not the best

ZckFox

You got to check out the OPs and EDs to Urusei Yatsura (2022).

Since Monogatari almost won the Twitch poll and it was discussed that it could be a Patreon exclusive I put together a Playlist that include all Openings since its hard to find a playlist that has them all. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzdi-_4vfe8TrhYCUreDFqivIR5m7ffT1

ZckFox

He should just watch from the official aniplex videos. All the OPs are on three videos: 1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MS0JaVzVIU 2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwOX9wSqMdg 3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JL3s82oBaMg

You're pretty on the spot with the theme of the show. Guy, vampires, and enjoying the night life. It's a pretty good show, definitely recommend as a watch. Since it's only like 1 season it'd be a nice quick one sometime in the future. I guess I'll just recommend another anime opening vampire related, the anime "Blood C"

Miilk

Ngl this would be a great one to fill the Friday slot after finishing CSM

Ry

This could also be a good option: https://openings.moe/list/?s=monogatari

Crimson

Hey Luke, since you liked the opening so much, did you know they performed it on The First Take? HIGHLY recommend checking it out. It's easily one of the best performances I've seen and the vibe just gave me happy feels. They are so funny and cool, great band

Tori S

It’s only available on HIDIVE but they have a free trial

Tori S

I definitely recommend it! Yes it’s about vampires. No dancing though, just enjoying the night. I wouldn’t call it an energetic fun anime but it’s not dark or sad either, just chill. You can only watch it on HIDIVE though so you will have to sign up for another service. They have a free trial though

Anthony Shepherd

Call of the Night, Coming of Age Boy meets Vampire at a vending machine where she is buying beer, and he then "tries" to fall in Love with her. Fantastic show, 10 out of 10 would recommend. Other anime that have upbeat intros: Tenjou Tenge Dimension W

die kokosnuss

@ZckFox I would like to thank you for this information. I didnt know this existed. Now I know where to watch the if I want to

Dominik Knight

There’s a show I think you’d really like the openings and ending to, it’s called Tsurune, it’s about Archery!! There are 2 openings and 2 endings and all 4 are very good

Cristian

@ZckFox do you happen to have links for the ending songs as well?

Zenkusen

Fun fact, the Mangaka asked Creepy Nuts for permission to use the name “Call Of the Night” or “Yofukashi no Uta” because they already released the song. Because of that interaction they also wanted the song in the show, and in turn Creepy Nuts agreed to not only allow the use of the song, but to make all music used in the show.

Remi

the songs are a vibe......and so is the show
