idk if anyone mentioned it yet or not but we were recently shown a flashback of erens mother yelling at him as a child and saying his ears turn red when he lies. that was the second time we saw that conversation i believe the reason they showed us again was because when eren was saying all those terrible things to mikasa and armin he had his hair tied up instead of down like he normally has it so that his ears were showing. its like he wanted them to know he was lieing without having to say it out loud because they would probably have understood that since they knew him his whole life.

Regarding why Armin hasn’t transformed, I’m going with him still not having control of going absolute nuclear. Also a few episodes back it was shown that Armin was seemingly keeping Annie updated on all the happenings. If she could actually hear him is the question lol

You seemed confused about the "forest" part. You really need to go back and see Sasha's father's explanation and metaphor about kids in the forest when they were at the restaurant. It comes into play, subtlety, later.

Finally, Annie makes an appearance! Annie becomes a lovable character...the greatness of AOT's script. Every scene where Kaya and Gabi are relative through Sasha brings tears to my eyes. It's good to rewatch AOT. You might want to watch it dubbed because you might miss it if you are following the subtitles. You will discover something new.

its not Bertohldo, only Berthold. In Japanese many names(including English and other) are sometimes pronounced with an ending 'O'. Example John-o, but not for Tommy or Sasha or Armin. I feel its an old japanese people dialect stuff.

1) The forest - remember when Niccolo (the Marleyan chef) gave Artus Braus (Sasha's dad) the knife to kill Gabi and he gave a speech on the lines of "We gotta get the children out of that forest at the very least. Or else... We would just keep on circling around the same place. That's why, it is the burden of us adults to shoulder the sins and hatred of the past." 2) Why doesn't Armin just turn into the Colossal? Do you remember Season 3 Part 2 Ep 3? When Bertholdt transformed into the Colossal it was a miniature nuclear explosion that turned everything within a 10km radius turned to ash. That's why it's not a good idea for Armin to turn into the Colossal - he'd kill everyone.

OKAY now you have to start watching the intro/outros, there is no longer any spoilers and they are just amazing. The Rumbling opening is one of the best anime intros ever made and gets you in the right mood for each episode. Include them for Patreon and cut them for the YouTube version, like 30secs of editing. Mostly i feel Luke is missing out not watching the intro every episode at this point, its diminishing the epicenes of the experience we all had watching Season 4 part 2.

I may be wrong, but I believe it is because japanese prononciation is based on syllables (always 1 consonnant + 1 vowel). Except for the "n" sound, you can't have a word ending with a consonnant, it has to be a vowel. That's why Armin, Erwin or Eren are pronunced "normally" but Berthold, Colt have a "o" at the end, and Floch has a "u", etc...

I like Overlord a lot, one of my favorite Animes. But i would love to see him watching Demon Slayer. :D Death Note is good until a specific Episode, after this Episode I tried to finish the show, but it was not the same anymore.

The comment about "escape the forest" was figuratively speaking about violence. Recall back the time Sasha's dad found out Gabi was the one that killed Sasha during the family feast, he made a speech about how Sasha "wandered too long in the forest" and got her killed.

I already saw it a few times in the comments, but one more time doesn't hurt I guess : Demon Slayer would be a great anime to watch next. It has all the gory, dark side you love, and also incredible emotional scenes and lovable characters, you'd love it. There are two "main" seasons out for now + a smaller season in between. AND the next season is coming out in april ! Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is another great option :3

My life isnt worth the lives of billions of people, I wouldnt justify mass genocide for my sake, and even if i could we'd lose a LOT from that... so the whole world gets turned into barren plains except for the small corner we're in? All the things we learned and got from other cultures erased? Cars, anime, video games, computers, technology, and the pepole that made them slaughtered? I wouldnt wanna live in that world. Plot wise, I don't think Eren is acting like he is some kind of hero for what he is doing as well. We were never really shown that much of the other countries but according to udo they hate eldians and Paradis far more than even marley does. Attack on Titan is the only show I ever immediately thought "I want to watch that again", just like you. That's how I discovered you, which is a lot of fun for a re-watch. This scene where they take down all the titans, with the music hitting and then seeing Pyxis just hit me soo hard, I actually cried a little. It's such a culmination of so many things. How even in such a desperate situation they have to focus on the issue at hand, killing titans like they used to (the song also being a throwback), but now knowing these are friends they are killing. The skill they display, how they work with and save each other. It's just so so well done, even though it's a minor scene plot wise.
