RIP Chester, his music will forever live on! This hits soo hard man

Chester Bennington's death hit me harder than even some of my family members dying. His music with Linkin park got me through so many tough times growing up and a bunch of the songs spoke to me on a deep level. Between that and my dog dying a week apart made that very hard for me. Every time that month came around for years I got pretty sad. I loved this song so much, I also got teary eyed. RIP Chester, you may be gone but you're very much alive in the hearts and memories of us all.

I started crying when i heard this. I saw your video and immediately had to go listen to the song on my own for the first time because i knew i would get emotional

I too, got emotional watching this video. I wasn’t even aware of the fact that the video was coming out! I missed your stream today. Awesome song, awesome reaction. Linkin Park helped me get through my divorce in the mid 2000’s, Hybrid Theory was just rage enough and and had enough meaning for me to blast in my car to blow off steam! Meteora was a close second! It tore my heart out when we lost Chester.

5 seconds and my boy wanted to cry damn The feeels

It’s 4 AM where I am. But it was here that I heard this first. My god ! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever hear his voice again. It was my son who introduced me to this band. I was hooked immediately. They are in a category all by themselves. I experienced so much joy that we have new material from Chester Bennington. The song’s title “lost” hit me. It reminded me how lost I feel that Chester Bennington is no longer with us. This was Bittersweet you could say. Thank you for sharing this & your personal connection you have regarding Linkin Park. Much respect , Luke.

Linkin Park has a unique part of my life. I began listening to them around 2003, I was 15 years old, my father had passed a few years earlier and 9/11 (I can see the New York Skyline from where I lived) still was affecting me. I would listen to looped Linkin Park while playing Pokemon in my room after school. It helped me get through a lot of tough times.

IDK why but the video makes me think of "Your Name"

Man, wasn't expecting this... I'm sweating trough my eyes...

You should react to “The Pot” by Tool. Genuinely one of the hardest songs I’ve heard.

PKS

I was late when it was premiered by 30 mins

Don't apologize for getting emotional, I think many of us did - I know I did and I'm typically a very stoic person, but the first time that chorus kicked in with Chester's belted vocals, it was like someone slammed me in the chest and started chopping onions. Hybrid Theory came out when I was 15 and Linkin Park was the most defining band of my formative years and they were even the biggest inspiration for the band my best friend and I founded back in 2003... I've only ever gotten very emotional over one celebrity death in my entire life - Chester... LP will always be a part of my life and I'll always wonder what more could have been if Chester hadn't lost his battle.

I was not expecting this to be an AI generated video... still got me, though

You should react to "Cross Off". It's the last song Chester recorded. He was a feature but still an insane song

My exposure to LP was when I was in 4th grade and heard Numb through my uncle's playlist. Then started following them after hearing them in the credits of Transformers and listened to every song.

This song almost sounds like Chester hitting a low point before breaking the habit comes in and he tries to turn more hopeful. Hauntingly beautiful.

†RIP† Freakshow

First of all, i got in tears too when i heard him again... he was my childhood... their Songs in this time has keep me goin on in really heavy times. I have a recommendation for you because you said no Band comes nearly on them. Do me a favor an Listen to Falling in Reverse with their son Popular Monster... it´s not the same like Linkin Park, but they are come close to them with mixing the Genres and their front man "Ronnie Radke" has an awesome vocal range too.
