RandomTitanGuy

We are almost at those episodes bois

Miklar Sihn

I thought Zeke was the one who was going to scream... But it was you all along.

Miklar Sihn

The guy who had the Beast titan before Zeke said that his only ability was that he could throw well and that his titan was pretty useless beyond that.

PKS

Bro how western ? Do you not call some friends of yours bro ? Sasha's parents were helping orphans live with them, ofcourse kaya will call Sasha big sis.

Please react to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSMuhzSgOGE - full version of last opening, literally an official AMV. Just do it AFTER you finish current season, it's a very good recap to all 4 seasons but it's heavy on spoilers.

Conny's #1 most said line is huh. That's all his contributes to the conversation.

Chmuurkaa

!!! [Spoiler for the Next Episode Warning] !!! I'm waiting for it since season one, because in Episode 7 I believe, Luke said "I won't believe that Eren is dead until I see his head rolling on the ground", and since then I'm waiting for that moment just so I can put this together along with his reaction to it and post it as a meme Edit: It was Season 1 Episode 6 timestamp 30:30

i do recommend you to listen with closed eyes to the opening song when you watch the episode to get hyped

idkwhy

Pls do NOT react to the opening till we tell u

Anonymous

Plz react to the next 2 episodes together !

Maurice Adler

I don't know why so many want you to react to the opening already. It's filled with tons of spoilers

Leon Sims

you've said best analyzed theory to this I've heard anyone say tbh

Hugo

Nice reaction as always!

Daniel Dettlaff

i would love to see 20+21 as a double episode

Rich

Saturday is gonna be crazy, all of next week as well

Obscuremango

Thank you, Your one of few to see that, the laughter was Eren broken, some show and express loss in different ways

KeanuofRivia

I don't foresee him reacting to other people's content, watching sure, but probably not reacting

AngieAngelFish

The next to episodes are fuking massive, highly recommend watching them back to back so everything is as fresh as possible. Plus you will be desperate to see episode 21 straight after seeing 20.

Arctic

yeah like, in S2 he did the same when Hanes Died. It was a normal reaction for Eren but some people think that his laugh in S4 means he wanted Sasha to die or that he didnt care

Antoine Jones

once again best opening in anime history was skipped

Metal

I think he understood. Since this episode the next big event is quite obvious.

BellsRing

Some Asian cultures (like mine) call our non-relative older peers with our term for big sister or big brother.. it's a sign of respect and closeness (a little like how Americans use "mister"). Some cultures also have a title/suffix for younger peers

Markus

1. Spoiler heavy opening, both in lyrics and animation. Let's not pretend otherwise 2. He's already reacted to it long ago 3. It's not like the song is going anywhere, he can react to it during the last few episodes or after he's finished with the season

Nathan S.

Thank you Luke for seeing the truth in Eren when Sasha died, he still has some humanity left in that dark empty heart. Pyxis and Shadis are the greatest elder leaders. Everything is coming to a point.. 7:05 ;)

Anonymous

in lyrics how? ive listened to it before replying to your comment to be sure of it and as long as he (Luke) just listen to the song with eyes closed he wont get spoiled because the lyrics don't say anything he didn't already know

Nathan S.

Please do a react to "SiM - The Rumbling" band MV for this part, no spoilers ITS EPIC!!!

Nathan S.

18:50 Yelena's face then was one of the greatest meme's of 2022 xD

Antoine Jones

I saw no "spoilers" in the opening all I remember seeing was hype building... just like EVERY (good) anime opening. Pretty sure you watched every anime opening with every show you watched... did the opening ruins the show for you? Like the 2nd AoT opening. It shows a titan fighting other titans... thats not a spoiler... thats hype, not to mention it raises more questions that I'm gonna wanna know the answer too "why is that titan fighting the other ones? I dunno but I can't wait to find out wtf is going on" now if the opening revealed that that titan was Eren... THAT would be a spoiler. Bleach's new opening shows Ichigo's new Zanpakto.. well that's also not a spoiler considering I didn't know what I was looking at until it actually happened in the show. (It's not a spoiler if I'm ignorant to what they're showing me and have no idea what I'm seeing) and even then compared to the major shit that is revealed and happens in that arc seeing Ichigo with a new weapon doesn't even register as important. Besides anyone who's watched a Shonen before KNOWS the main character I'd ALWAYS gonna get new transformations and abilities so is it really a spoiler if you knew it was inevitably coming? Who cares if you saw what it looked like beforehand. That's not gonna make the epic fight any less epic

Markus

Really? Not even the first few lines? But sure, let's say Luke won't get spoiled just by listening to the song. Why not wait until he gets to a point where there's 0% chance he gets spoiled? I'd say he would be safe to watch it after episode 5 of this season.

Antoine Jones

So again. Did you watch the opening g from the start? Did it ruin the show for you? Also most ppl aren't paying attention to/know what those lyrics mean, they just know it's a badass song. Also Luke (like every other reactor it seems) misses shit that literally explained/spelled out to him in a full 10 minute speech/backstory so you think he's gonna pick up on lyrics in a 45 second song? He'll I didn't even know those lyrics had meaning to the story/Eren until I read it in a comments section somewhere (probably youtube)

Markus

For most shows, I wait until the end of the season to watch the opening and ending. I don't want to risk getting spoiled, especially with shows I'm heavily invested in. Having watched Attack on Titan several times by now, there's only two out of the seven openings I'd advice reactors to avoid until they've gotten far enough into the season (openings 5 and 7). People absorb entertainment differently. Some might have a better viewing experience when watching the openings, while other people might have lesser experience. The opening isn't going anywhere and I just think he should wait a few more episodes before watching it.

Blackcat menace

you shuold react to the bluelock openings

Antoine Jones

"Some might have a better viewing experience when watching the openings, while other people might have lesser experience." So by your own words unless you can read someone's mind to know which they fall under might as well let em watch it and determine that gor themselves I'd say

Kevin Vang

In asian countries, someone that you look up to and close with, they call them big sis/bro although they're not related. You'll get used to it the more you watch anime and catch them saying that a lot. A few example they use big sis/bro commonly is when characters are childhood friends (slightly older one another), kids saying it to strangers that are teens/young adults etc.

Markus

I completely agree with you, this is Luke's decision to make. You and I are just on either end of that decision, trying to sway him to do whatever we think is the correct way to watch this season.

Antoine Jones

You're right it IS his decision to make. The issue is that the only reason ANY openings have been skipped is because the "openings have spoilers" brigade is out in full force TELLING him not to watch them (same with other reactors) I'm sure if ppl kept their mouths shut he (and everyone else) would watch them. So the point is HE isn't making the decision it's being made FOR him by listening to/being influenced by everyone else

Markus

If we're going by the fact that he listens to people warning him about spoilers, don't you think he's making his own decisions? Because he doesn't want to get spoiled? Again, we just disagree whether or not the opening is going to spoil somethng for him. I think it will, so I advice him to wait until episode 6.

Antoine Jones

Nope if I'm on who wants to be a millionaire and I ask the audience then choose the answer the majority gives then I'm not making my own decision. I'm taking their decision. If I were making my own decision I wouldn't have asked the audience to begin with and just answered on my own or I would do the opposite of what they decided. Those would be my decisions, anything else would be theirs as I didn't come up with the answer on my own, it was given to me

Markus

How would he even have started to react to Attack on Titan if people didn't ask him to? Listening to audience feedback is how many youtubers and streamers grow their channels. Now, reaction channels do their best to avoid spoilers. They will always check with their audience if an opening is safe to watch. If we're using AoT as the example, the vast majority agrees that opening 5 should be skipped until the end of that season and that opening 6 is overall safe to watch. With this opening however, it seems like the community is split in two. I'd be in favor of Luke doing a poll, seeing as there's pretty big disagreement whether or not he can watch it without getting spoiled.

Rich

I think the big sis thing is just how they're translating a Japanese way of addressing older people, especially ones they respect. Just hard to make an English equivalent that perfectly captures the Japanese meaning. My dude's lack of culture is showing lmao

dg_2drunk

Not only that but the Braus family literally adopted Kaya (and all the other orphans) so Sasha kinda was her sister, even if not related by blood.

Legacy

all openings are yet we all watch em and doesn't kill the enjoyment. watched it every episode as most animes and didnt't really spoil much

brad marsh

The plan is, eren will do the rumbling and then all the colossal titans will do the macarina and the vibrations from the dance will rip the world apart

rac coun

In Jean's mind Eren's reaction to Sasha's death is just another point in favor of showing how far gone he was, that he didn't seem sad or upset. Jean only noticed Eren's laugh.

Josh Folk

So when’s the “Rumbling” opening reaction happening. I’m so ready for it.
