The Collosal can transform without the mega explosion. However, whenever a Titan transforms, theres still a small zone around them that gets super heated (Like how Eren handcuffed Peick to Gabi, as she would have been incinerated on transformation). And the Collosal is massive. So that zone is way bigger. Also, despite being able to contain the explosion, he still emits super hot air for an even bigger area around him, if you remember when he transformed on top of the wall, evreyone got blown back and burnt, even those that were a fair bit away. Not to mention that fact that it would cause that whole fort to crumble just due to him appearing and as he moves all the rumble on him would get sent flying away (and the timer within it would likely be ablaze)

Oh I commented before your discussion piece was done. A reason for Marley to NOT want the Euthenasia, is that a considerable part of their military might is dependant on titan-based warfare. The warrior program and the ability to do stuff with Zeke's transformative abilities has made them an unstoppable power. The Euthaniziation plan puts that on a slim timer.

You ask wouldn't Marley support the euthanisation plan? Well I can think of two arguments why they wouldn't, although one has a pretty strong counter argument but i think the second is bullet proof. 1. The power of the titans is critical to Marley's military dominance, so you can argue that there's no way they'd be willing to give up that power. However you can also say that they'd maintain that power for the next 70 years before all the Eldians are too old to fight by which point advancing technology would have made titan power fully obsolete anyway so perhaps they'd support the plan despite this. 2. The plan requires bringing out the power of the founding titan. In other words it's the same conditions to achieve it as it would be to start the rumbling, and so do you really think they'd trust the people they're at war with, and the people they've been oppressing at home to actually carry out that plan? There's no way, right? It'd be too risky to trust the future of Marley on the honesty of "Eldian devils".

I dont think marley wouldn't like the idea of euthanizing the eldians because marley's military is based on using titans' powers.

Well if Eldians stopped having children that means that Marley would lose their titan weapons. They don't want to get rid of Eldians since that would leave them vulnerable. That s why it wouldn't make sense for Zeke to just tell them about his plan.

The explanation for the colossal titan explosion came in ep 9 or 10 when eren formed the hand to stop the shell. Its based on the users will. Bert didn't want to nuke shiganshina as a kid, just wanted to his job and destroy the wall. He did want to nuke it when he was fighting the scouts with reiner and zeke though, same with Armin at the port its based on what they are trying to accomplish with the titan power. Armin uderstandably didn't want to test if he could make a safe enough transformation cramped with his pals.

The Marleys dominate via titans, so their disappearance would deal a devastating blow to them. Therefore, there was no point in Zeke telling them about his plan. Also, Zeke and Eren were in no hurry to implement their plan, because they did not yet trust each other. Beyond that, they don't know for sure if things will work out the way they want them to. (By the way, trust appeared after the attack on Marley, but they were divided)

So, the explanation for the colossal titan is a bit thin, we only know that Bertholdt was the most proficient user of the colossal titan and could use it in ways previous users couldn't. Also its theorized that since the titan transformed so close to the wall the wall took most of the force of the transformation. Also armin's point still stands there isn't any transforming underground as the colossal even bert wouldn't be able to get them out of that.

This has been mentioned time and time again, both in the anime and comment section this season. But here goes: As long as Annie is in her crystal form, only the Jaw Titan would be able to break her out and/or eat her. We don't know whether she's maintaining this form by her own will or not, but she's stayed in that crystal since the end of season 1. Seeing as they showed Armin talking to her earlier this season, you can safely assume that she's not been forgotten. I can understand that it feels like they've just wasted Annie's character and titan form, but it would be really hard to fit her in the story based on the events of season 2 till now. Not to mention that she did get a lot of screentime back in season 1, compared to other titans and characters.

Also its not said explicitly but Eldia sort of turned shingashina into a military headquarters of sorts, all military personnel gather there etc etc, it's not entirely abandoned just repurposed.

Like many said it's your choice watching the OP or not. It enchances every episode you watch if you listen to the song before episode, but at the same time it has pretty spoilery stuff for what will happen. PS. Btw you enjoying Eren's titan roar, so be really happy you didn't listen to his in english dub as Attack Titan sounds like Elephants trumping their noses...

Nah zeke cant go to marley with the plan because they would kill him. Understand that Marley as a country is not concerned with eldians, they use the fear as propaganda to justyfy enslaving of remaining eldians because they want to use their titan power as a weapon to dominate the world. This plan would weaken Marley which would lead to yet another civil war. They would also lose their excuse to attack Paradis which they want for its resources.

So you've asked a few times now, why wouldn't Marley be up for Zeke's plan and I think there's a solid reason behind it. I think it all comes down to power. You see since they've been using titans to fight other nations and have done so for so long, without the titans in their ranks they are probably screwed. So they wouldn't be onboard to destroy their big ass powerful weapons. Also I am pretty sure Eldians in Marley have jobs that pay very cheaply, so they'd lose cheap workers as well, which would affect their economy since it's not a small amount of them. Those are two pretty good reasons I think.

I think the reason Marley wouldn’t go along with Zekes euthanasia plan is because it would require them to trust Eren and why would they trust people they deem to be devils. So for it to work they would have to eat Eren and take the founder for themselves which obviously Eren wouldn’t allow, so Zekes only choice was to betray Marley and side with Eren. Plus, the Marleyans use Eldians sort of as slaves so they do have a purpose to Marley and just killing them off wouldn’t necessarily be a benefit to them.

2:35 "Get in my BELLY!" 8:15 Colossal Titan. 2nd appearance was almost silent. 1st appearance had an earthquake strong enough to knock people off their feet. Presumable, the blast wasn't able to damage the Titan-Reinforced walls. Bertholt kicked open a gate, not the wall. STILL, what about the 2nd appearance? I can speculate that Bertholt, with practice and with advice from earlier Colossals, learned how to control the explosion.
