using cyberware doesn't shorten your lifespan but everyone has a limit to how much they upgrade before they start losing their mind and go cyberpsycho, that's why Dorio was telling Maine to downgrade. also fun fact because everyone is connected to the internet in 2077 you can get a computer viruses just like you can get normal sickness, and the rouge A.I. that lucy was talking about in her flashback are basically gods because they can infect and control peoples cyberware (therefore controlling what you see, hear, and think), there is a group called netwatch that protects humanity from them

I'd highly recommend Made in Abyss, it's a fun light-hearted anime about a couple children that go exploring and have wacky misadventures! It'd likely be a patreon-exclusive since Youtube doesn't abide by intensely happy and joyful shows!

oh if you want a 1 season show that will not be allowed on youtube maybe try Elfen Lied it gets overlooked a lot because it was too gory for American tv and released at the same time as way bigger anime that stole the spotlight but it is a very intense psychological horror anime that is only 13 episodes

Devil Man Crybaby, Death Parade, Ouran Highschool Host Club (for the laughs), Hyouka, The Devil is A Part Timer (I can only recommend the 1st season so far), I tried to stay away from love stories without humor but all of these are one season (Some have 24 episodes per season though). In case anyone else needed ideas too.

The majority says castlevania should be next as replacement for edgerunners, and i agree. Arcane, cyberpunk edgerunners and castlevania are great masterpiece of animation with entertaining storyline. It fits here very well and i think you and your viewers would enjoy it. It's longer one, castlevania has 4 seasons i guess, but you should do it anyway i don't see better option, maybe 2 eps per week? Hellsing ultimate is much more boring in my opinion. You asked about sandevistan, yes you can have it in game. Some enemies also are using it.

You've mentioned it a couple of times - Lucy seeing something at the warehouse. Well, she did, but I think you missed it - when she was doing the deep dive hack, she got into the encrypted files and found all the people Arasaka wanted to experiment with. Right before David was the soldier who previously had the same Sandy and went psycho. Lucy realized Arasaka was interested in David and that's why the executive suddenly got fried - she killed him to protect David.

For Patreon exclusives, I do agree that Castlevania would be a great replacement, even with it's length. If you're able to fit two episodes into a single video, that may be easier (it would make each video about the same length as Arcane episodes were). I've also seen mention of Elfen Lied - that would be one that would have to be Patreon exclusive, there is a fair amount of nudity (first episode has the most and it's not even close) and it also has some very adult themes in it. It's a pretty good show and it's a single season, so it would be a good selection.

There are actually people who live outside the city they are called Nomads. Nomads are people kinda like in Mad Max who live in the desert but not as raider like. In fact in Cyberpunk 2077 u can choose what life u want to start as either streetkid, corpo, or nomad.

Castlevania for the patreon exclusive is great, Hellsing Ultimate is another good one, or Made in Abyss if you want something that isnt what it seems. You could also react to the OPs first. For chainsawman, i think JoJo's bizarre adventure would be great, it is a real ride, but a joy to watch. If you want to confuse yourself, you can react to Jojo but without context (no spoilers since there is no context), i think that would be hilarious. Hellsing Ultimate is fine as a fun, brains off, over the top anime. I really like Integra in it. But the grounded nature of Castlevania with amazing characters across the board make it a much more interesting watch. And I just know Luke would love it.

I feel like Redline would be a great Patreon one off, it's a movie by that is very like Cyberpunk in style. It wouldn't fly on YouTube or Twitch tho

To answer your question about why people continuously get cyberware installed despite the risk of their bodies rejecting it and getting Cyberpsychosis; many reasons. Some do it to get a leg up on the competition ( corpos, cops and other edgerunners), some get them willing or unwillingly from corpos wanting to test experimental cyberware, and some are just addicted to it similar to plastic surgery today. If you remember, doc refers to David as a "Chrome Junkie" and same with Maine, though the former of the three reasons I listed is very plausible, the latter is hinted at; they like having more cyberware and think they can take it. Also while Castlevania is a great choice to replace this, my vote is for an older anime called Afro Samurai; it's got gore, sex and swearing, it's a classic and I've yet to see anyone shout it out. Also my fav actor Samuel Jackson voices the main character!

wouldn't say david is all cyber now, more like 75-80% still a ton, and crazy high, maine was like 90%
