Luke, I hate to discredit your theory but it has already been said, and you even commented on it so I know you knew about this and just forgot, but when a titan dies, the power magically floats into space and reappears in random eldian, meaning that the titan powers will never dissappear. Unless they figure out some ancient ritual that will make the titans not reappear, I cant really see eren capturing all the titans for the sole purpose of dying.

I have a feeling Eren will die and Armin will inherit all titan powers and by having all titans powers he will not die in 7 years. I remember when attack titan said to Grisha save Mikasa and Armin, I think it was Eren from future giving command. thats the only thing that is making sense to me. haven't seen the season 4 part 2 soon i will be watching brand new content with Luke. I am so tempted to just binged watched everything now but I am holing and waiting for one reaction per 2-3days

As for everyones theories well t he anime may not be over yet but the source material the anime is based on has been complete for almost a year now so lots of us whove read the books already know EXACTLY how it ends.. no theories needed lol

Eren retreating from Riener and saying he can't kill him is sort of misconstrued, He could in fact beat Riener, but it'd take time, time he didn't have and this was already eren's 3rd transformation he's probably exhausted even if he's not showing it. It was more of a tactical choice on his part.

Without any spoilers, only working with information you already have at this point (not by the end of the anime, by this episode of the anime) your theory wouldn't work, eren would just get the 9 titans, die and then 9 random babys at some point would get the titans that's how it works. If a shifter dies without pasing it down it goes to a rando

You're forgetting that the space inbetween the walls is massive. its tons of miles. And a lot of the space is open land. There is plenty of room for the titans to just not walk where there are people if they came out of the walls

Sasha's death is considerably more emotional when you know the lyrics to the song we get an instrumental rendition of playing when she is revealed to be dead

Eren has a tendency to laugh when in despair, as seen back when Hannes got eaten by the same titan that ate his mom. "Meat" was such a Sasha thing to say and it kind of sent him off the edge, rage and sadness overtaking him. Seeing how cold he was to murdering children and civilians, his reaction to Sasha dying is really telling of who he actually cares about.

If the rumbling was ever used, theres plenty of space for those titans to spread out as they walk.

What was her last dying words? Meat. The first time I watched this episode I was dying laughing for about 10 minutes and had to pause the episode. It was sad as hell, but it was so funny. It was completely inappropriate and cut the heavy tension of how wrong and sad it was. It was just so sudden and slyly snuck in, which is why it was so damn funny. Watching it a 2nd time is just sad.

I thought it was weird and sad, but not really funny for me. second time was a bit less sad since I knew what was coming but the music, camera angles, and all the staging and stuff are so well done that it is hard not to get teary eyes when you watch it. Also Luke, Im not sure if you knew, but sasha kinda had this coming since she was originally written by the manga artist to die much earlier in the show, during the weird scene when the human sized titan was eating the little girls mom, back in sashas village. But one of the people involved, probably a publisher, was so sad to hear that sasha was dying that the manga writer ended up rewriting parts of the show so that sasha would still be alive. so she has sort of been a side character that had to go at some point, so didnt really deserve to be in the story for this long, but it did make for an incredibly good death scene later in the show, so the manga writer (I really should look up his name but Im too lazy) probably made a good call holding back on the death scene until now.

Like a coping mechanism developed when there is no more pain left to feel. The last 3 years really messed him up.. RIP potato girl <3

It wrecks the pacing of the show. I can guarantee that big moments will hit you harder if you just watch the episode alone first. Especially since you've still here in season 4. Clearly you enjoy the show a lot, so you're doing yourself a disservice AND disrespecting the show itself by not watching in it's intended format.

grice actually is kind of significant because the person who recruited Grisha to be a restorationist was a member of the Grice family, and that's why Colt and Falco enlisted in the Warrior program, so they could atone for their traitorous uncle's actions.
