The hypocrisy of everyone tho. Eren and others doing the same shit that's been done to them and the Marlyans and others being surprised and calling them the devils for doing the same they did to them. It's frustrating, but that's war. I'm still on Paradis' side tho, idk about the past way back, but currently, they went through the worse shit. I hate seeing innocent lives being taken, especially children, but the ones who took part in it? Serves them right.

Also Grice was the blonde guy that was in charge of the restorationists with Grisha. He was sent to the wall when they got caught, and he was the first to be kicked off the wall, to get the titans to chase him.

Grice was the name of one of the people in the restorationists group with Grisha, he is related to Falco, but the Grice family doesnt have any royal connections. Grice was the blonde guy who was bitter towards Grisha before he was kicked of the wall

I think you are thinking of 'Reiss' when you hear 'Grice' as a family name. Reiss is Historia's surname. Grice isn't really related to the royal anything, it's just a random name

Not all titans can transform to their fullest like Attack titan can do 3 times. Female Titan can 2 times we have seen, Reiner second time did not fully formed or his armor did not fully form), Beast and Colossal can't transform second time immediately, but this is my opinion.

Maybe someone here can answer thus for me. In season 1 when Colossal Titan appears right behind Eren and he goes to attack it, it does steam attack which blows Eren back. Eren manages to get past steam, but then Colossal is gone. Where did it go? If Bertholt got out of it quickly it would just drop and need some time to evaporate, but they show the ground and there are no remains.

i believe its either answered later in the manga or earlier but one of the abilities of the colossal titan is that it can appear and disappear quickly

Considering it was at the very premier, there wasn't really any "standard" on how quickly a titan body disappeares. Just like there were no marks after exiting a titan at first, in season 1 there are multiple variations of titan marks. Even then it wasn't until season 3 where eren noticed it on zeke, to realise he's the beast titan. So the simple answer is purely, there wasn't really thought about a standard back in the season 1 days. And the instant disappearance was mostly just to add dramatic effect... It may also be explained by saying that berhtold just quickly used up his entire body to preduce steam, considering his titan ability.

You are thinking of the Reiss family, which Historia is a member of on the island. Grice just sounds similar. I love how Eren turned the Jaw Titan into a nutcracker. Amazing! But keep in mind that, while Eren does possess the powers of the War Hammer Titan now, he doesn't know how to use them. He has to train to use them, just like he had to train to use his new hardening ability. This is my favorite episode of pretty much the entire series...so far.

It's not, and it's never explained in the manga. As other people have said, it is just one of the o so many plot holes in Attack on titan. It basically happened because the writer hadn't figure out how the story was gonna go or how the titan were going to work. As much as this manga tries to make it so it always knew the ending fro the start and all the "foreshadowing", it is just a common manga writingg technic. Don't get me wrong, both the manga and the anime are top tier, but OMG isn't this work just filled with plotholes

Haven't seen the show to the end yet, so it might've been explained, but I think it's just a shift in the writing. At the same time, it's also entirely possible it was a conscious effort. Perhaps Bertholdt used the Colossal Titan's steam ability to evaporate its entire body at once?

Grice was a leader in the Eldian Resistance with Grisha. When Grisha was captured, Grice was the one who was sent running in the desert instead of being turned into a titan.

Not sure if u remember but we know who has royal blood rn… we know historia has royal blood and we know bc Erens dad was married to someone with royal blood when he lived in Marley, that Zeke also has royal blood, but Marley doesn’t know bc when Grisha Yeager was sent to Paradis, Eren Krueger told him not to mention her royal blood, u questioned that during the episode if you remember, I think it was to protect the fact that Zeke had royal blood too… but it didn’t matter anyway bc Kreisler just killed everyone in the port anyway 😅

I get the feeling that you get mad at shows often. Attack on Titan would be really boring if there was nothing happening ever. As long as everything is well written and makes an impact in the story/universe, it's all good with me.

It's never going to come up in the story again but Grice is the name of Grishas 2nd in command from the Restorationist days. He was the guy that at the end of season 3 was kicked off the wall first and told to run north and maybe he will make it to the walls. He was Falcos and Colts uncle - that's why you recognise the name.

This episode when Eren transforms its actually his 3rd Full powered Titan body. all the Hange training in season 3 is why he can do this. He could probably get another 2 or 3 full powered ones after also. Depending on how long he is fighting for. Most of these first two just got destroied by Warhamer so making a new one uses less energy than healing

Did he infiltrate the government before that and they, for some reason, decided to give that Titan to a "Marleyan"soldier? That doesn't track since they generally use Eldian kids, right? I'm a little confused.

Marley never had the attack titan to begin with. After the great titan war they had 7, all but Attack and founder, the attack titan most likely got passed down bewteen random people all the way to kruger, then grisha then eren. That is about as much as I can tell you without spoilers

technically eren has created 3 titans in this fight. the initial one that burst through the building, which he abandoned when mikasa showed up shortly after. the second one when he saw the sort of umbilical cord tethering the war hammer titan to the sister, and he jumped off the building and assumed titan form to grab her out of the ground, and then during this when he jumped out of the weird titan tree thing saying he still has more left in him

Marley never had control of the Attack Titan. It was probably passed down among people with a sentiment for resistance. He was already caught up in some Eldian Restoration shit, as he sent Dina, whose bloodline was hidden from the government, to the Restorationists that we know.

Interesting. More questions. (No manga spoilers though please) Funny how this show just keeps giving you endless questions. How did Kruger know about Dina? What was their connection? Another thing I've been considering for a long time is hair color. Some royals seem to be blonde and others black or dark haired. I'm very curious about the royal lineage. Lastly, I wonder if Eren is just a human manifestation of Ymir who created herself in human form to rescue her from the hell she's been in. "To you 2000 years in the future." There's been an obvious messianic (Christ-like) connection made with Eren so it would make sense.

and did he forget that Zeke is Eren's brother? or half brother rather? and zeke's mom, the lady who ate Eren's mom, is of royal blood which means zeke has it too

Remember that Historia has royal blood, so Eren could activate the rumbling with her help. There is also Zeke, but we don't know if he survive so... Also, I think you are confusing Grice with Reis which is the last name of the royal family.

Hey Luke, these are not spoilers at all. They've been said in the past episodes. But Falco Grice is the little brother of Colt Grice, who is supposed to inherit the Beast Titan from Zeke in the future. Falco's uncle who was an Eldian Restorationist is also someone you've met. They said his name once in passing so it may be hard to remember. Towards the end of season 3, remember when Grisha was on the wall with the Owl and the other restoarationists? The person beside him who said something like "you should have never been leader. look where you got us". That guy had the last name Grice. I hope that helps. Someone correct me if I got any of that mixed up.

Falco's surname is Grice. The royal family's surname is Fritz, but they changed it on the island to Reiss in order to hide their royal lineage and install a decoy monarch. Falco's uncle was one of the restorationists along with Grisha, he was the first one pushed off the wall without being turned into a titan so the other titans would follow him, and he is why Falco and Colt are warrior candidates so they can redeem their family.This has already been brought up in the show, and doesn't really get brought up again, so it's better to explain it here, as using Google to find out yourself is pretty much guaranteed to give you spoilers.

Kruger's main thing was intel, he infiltraded the marley military and worked on intel, as to how he knew about dina that not really a thing, he just knew. Hair color is not really relevant, it is my opinion that at some point it was going to be but then it just got scratched from the sory Last one is like actually imposible to answer without spoilers

We know the colossal titan cannot transform multiple times in a row, but there is nothing we know of that is preventing the others from doing it again.

As already mentioned, Grice was one of the leaders of the restorationists, and was also the guy that recruited Grisha into the organization when Grisha was training to become a doctor. He showed Grisha the patriot brand on his chest during an examination and introduced Grisha to the group (not to mention, was the one that was kicked off the wall without getting turned into a titan in order to be eaten).

Well to be fair to Luke it's his first main anime and AOT is very heavy on mystery plot lines. So him forgetting some stuff isn't that surprising.
