Love how Rogue was cracked up by David's and Rebecca's antics.That broad is a legend, a Solo turned Fixer, and owner of the Afterlife. It's current location is in Watson, near the river, but back in the 2040s (known as the Time of Red), it was located somewhere else, in the Upper Marina not to far where the Arasaka Tower used to stand, along with other corporation HQs.

2023-06-30 14:10:21 The ice baths are to prevent netrunners' cyberware from overheating while they're hacking and cooking them to death. Some of them have specialized suits, but those are expensive and if they don't have them/can't afford them, ice baths are necessary if they don't want their brain to turn into bacon.

The Transylvania thing people mentioned is Castlevania, and yes you would love it, as for Cyberpunk, it only gets crazier from here on so better strap yourself in for quite a ride.

As you know, in this universe, everyone basically has a computer in their head called a cyberdeck. Now as with any computer, heat can be a problem. So when a netrunner gets serious, they take an ice bath to prevent overheating.

Dude, if you want to chat before the video, do it - anyone that just wants you to hit play can just fast forward to that part, so do what you like man. As for a few questions you've had - Dorio has been seen before this episode, but this is the first episode that you see quite a bit of her. Also, I think everyone will agree that Rebecca is awesome - she's a fan-favorite character, and yes... her brother, Pilar, is most certainly dead. That series you couldn't remember the name of is Castlevania, it's based on the game series and the Netflix series is incredible, every bit as good as Arcane and Edgerunners.

So fun fact, Rebecca was actually requested to be removed. She was added by Studio Trigger, the animation team for the show (and a legendary team that made iconic shows like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kill la Kill, etc.) and was requested to be removed by CD Projekt Red, the devs of Cyberpunk. The reason being that she looked too young, meaning she didn't fit their vision of the setting, and that removing her would be almost inconsequential as the role she played in the story could be replaced. Trigger basically said "No", and CDPR just went with it, and because of that, Rebecca is one of the singular most popular characters in this show, if not the most popular.

"castlevania" not transilvania, and that is kinda waaay too big, it will take ages to react 1 episode per week (32 episodes). Personally I believe you could I guess attempt 2-3 episodes per week which would imply 12-16 weeks (3-2), so around 3-4 months.

Also, as such, they can hack and be hacked. The standard way/in combat, most people use decks (pretty much a secondary computer for hacking) and daemons (virus packages that do specific things) to wirelessly hack people or objects. Netrunners skilled enough, though, can connect directly(wired) to The Net (telecommunications network) and do a lot more but at the risk of their life if they run into strong firewalls or other Netrunners. Most skilled Netrunners use a special chair but they are expensive and not mobile (also Lucy has a reason that will be shown later for not liking them).

The Altered Carbon anime is surprisingly decent, but nothing too special either. Worth a watch though. Season 2 was a letdown because it didn't follow the book at all and managed to contradict the themes and character development that made the third book so good. Plus, I was super disappointed they didn't adapt book 2 which is my favourite.

Not an anime, but "The Legend of Vox Machina" is a great adult animated series based on the Critical Role D&D-Campaign that ticks similar boxes like Edgerunners but in a Fantasy Setting. Only bad thing for you: There isn't "the one main character to cheer for", but a whole group of protagonists. For other Content: K-On! could be great. No action, but a sugarcoated slice-of-life about a Music-Club at school. It has great comedy and a lot of music in it. The voice actresses also held two big stadium concerts.

you were right about Lucy being kinda cold/distant/indifferent. however, i think it is because she likes David (and has from almost the start) and was maybe trying to be 'rude' to him to get him to quit being an edgerunner, but when he promised to take her to the moon, she kinda broke and kissed him

The legend of Vox Machina was mentioned a few times, so i also recommend that for the next one, but i'm quite looking forward to the rest of this series, Cyberpunk is really great. Also another day recommending Golden Kamuy Openings, those are awesome, and the series itself is also great and really underrated.
