Rewatching all the opening reactions and its fun to see the difference between now and then. Dgray man quite dark at times showing the worse side of both the good and evil. Thinking back, They aired this during nighttime in the kids channels and i always had to steal the controller to watch it instead of the local news channel

I forgot how good D.Gray Man openings were and it's one of the really good Shounen shows out there. Too bad the anime never really got the ending done to it that it should have deserved, so think one of the reasons not too many talk about it is because of that.

"It looks like it's dark and a bit messed up" and also very much sadder than the openings show. I haven't watched the anime, but I remember reading the manga during sleepless nights and soaking my pillow in tears

An anime classic hall of fame is “.hack//sign”. It definitely has dark tones and could be used for Friday’s as it’s relatively short.

I recommend Katekyo Hitman Reborn openings and since you loved Bleach openings, you should watch the endings, they're just as good.

Could you check out the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann opening and the OST "Libera Me From Hell" from them, they are amazing.

D Gray Man is pretty dark not even talking about the designs Its a older anime where the newest Op is quite "new" in comaprison as they did 12 more eps. The mangaka had problems to contiunue her work with the magazine where it was published together with a illness it took a long break sadly. Missing the old op songs for newer animes too hardly any real rock ops nowadays

Ah, abington boys school, with their front man T.M. Revolution--truly one of the greatest Japanese singers alive. Listen to anything by him and you will not be disappointed. And how have you not reacted to the OP for DOLLS' FRONTLINE, "Bad Candy" by yukaDD? *cheese emoji*

thank you for finally reacting to these!! the openings are so amazing, I still listen to them all the time! the anime is dark but also has some humor to it. I def recommend you watch it. just know the anime (and the manga) aren't finished yet..

This show is great if you make it through first 50 episodes, but then it escalates quickly Also it's unfinished due to author health issues, so we can only guess how it may end 🧀

It is quite old anime. Some of them are aging well, but not all, especially shonen type which is this one. So if you didn't watched it in those days I dont know if its worth to back to it if there is so much brilliant modern anime series. Its canonic, but also long one, over 100 episodes, definitely worth watching, I dont know if worth reacting though.

The show has a darker aestethic and undertones, but it's still very much pg-13, with some usual shonen tropes (shonen being the word for media aimed at teenage/young adult demographic).
