Btw, it is a part of a continuous Makoto Shinkai universe (the director and story writer of the movies). This is the 3rd of very loosely connected movies. The 1st is "5cm per second", the 2nd is called "Garden of Words", the 3rd is "Your Name", the 4th is "Weathering with you". The movies has some characters reappearing. Watching "Your Name" gives some extra experience after watching "5cm per second" and "Garden of Words", but of course each of them is a perfect stand alone. If you watch carefully, you will see the hidden (more or less) ties between these movies. Enjoy!
