wooo this is one of my favourites i would say when we get around to overlord and if you enjoy it this is definately one that should check out in the near future, my favourite opening is the 3rd with the 4th being a close second

There are so many opening but the ones at the top of my playlist are the BNA opening and ending. Ancient Magus bride is also very good. I don’t know if we have done konosuba yet so obviously if we haven’t it is needed now.

This is a definite contender to watch after AoT, i highly reccomend, it's a mix of action, comedy and slice of life. The fans have another name for it which you'll find out if you ever react to it

On the other note, yes you would enjoy it, it is light but it gets dark, so balanced, it has everything, epic fights, in my opinion best sound for fights ever, politics, slothers, frendships, you name it its there. Group or girl that made last opener Like Flames also did opener for new movie for slime that is coming soon and yes Like Flames is my favorit

That time I got reincarnated as a slime - Tensura - Is about a slime named Rimuru that was reincarnated after his death on Earth. After being reincarnated he eventually left the place where he was reborn and found a monster village. His goal in life is to live a happy peaceful life and does so by modernizing to Japan levels this village to a more modern city. As he attempts to do this he faces danger and calamity from multiple places such as : monsters, demon lords, and humans. --- this is a summary that covers season 1 & 2, based on the light novel volume 1-6, as well as LN volumes 7-15, in English, and 16-20 in Japanese --- each season is about 3 LN in length. Season 3 should be out in the next year to year and a half

"That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" has probably the DARKEST first episode of any anime that I've EVER seen, but the show is PHENOMENAL. You must watch it. Then again, you must watch a lot of things because there are just so many good anime out there. I can't believe you haven't reacted to the awesome OP to "Dolls' Frontline", "BAD CANDY" by yukaDD.

It's one of the best Isekai stories, but I would rate it out of top 5 Isekai. So no this isn't first one you should watch for Isekai anime, but definitely add to your list to watch at some point. Hopefully people didn't give you too much answers to your questions as I feel every answer what this show is about is a spoiler for you. PS. Re:Zero, Overlord and Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation should be your top 3 priority for Isekai anime if you do reaction for that genre.

This show is absolute GOD tier, the storytelling and everything, to not spoil anything. This is about a man that turns into a slime in a completely new world, he has to discover everything and along the way he meets alliances and builds a village/nation for a reason. The series does both light-hearted and dark equally well. It definitely has extremely dark moments in its storytelling but it also knows how to have an episode of everyone just chilling. Also it's basically about a human that dies in our world and is reincarnated in a fantasy world as a slime monster. The Slime gains power very quickly and eventually gets a humanoid form.

I'd love for you to do the opening to season 1 of Guilty Crown. Also the openings for Symphogear, five seasons each sung by the same voice actress. Also since you liked Like Flames, check of Aurifureta's S2 opening Daylight, done by the same singer.

Anime is an Isekai (duuh) which mostly focusing on world building and a lot of action, can say its 50/50.

theres this genre called isekai were people die and get reborn into another world and i think this is one of the best ones out there

Spoiler free synopsis: As the name implies, the main character died on Earth, and got reincarnated in a fantasy world as one of the weakest monsters, a slime, except he has the ability to absorb the power of whatever he eats, gradually making him broken-level powerful as he ingest stronger foes. He creates a village to protect other ostracized monsters from humans and evil monsters. I'm usually not a big fan of fight scenes in animes, but the fight scenes in Slime Isekai are easily top tier epic.

Oh, no, I've watched anime since the 70's. My first was the original Star Blazers, which I watched in the late-70's, early 80's, whenever it came to America. I'm also very judicious in what I watch, though I don't have time to watch everything. Still, I have seen some dark anime (like Death Note), but even THAT didn't shock me like the start of "Slime" because I knew what to expect from Death Note and other dark anime. I was not expecting it from "Slime." That's why I consider it the darkest first episode--you don't expect it. And I am being vague to not give any spoilers.

And for this time, I come out of the shadows to give my not at all objective opinion, because I watched this anime 4 times and the sequel that has just been announced, I am crazy excited BUT, I would love to see you react to it and watch it for the 5th time, keep it up you are doing a great job

this is one of those shows you need to watch!! (definitly a contender for next anime) its about a guy dying in our world and then getting reincarnated as a slime in a new world. it is kinda lighthearted the first half of season one but then it goes off and become more adulty in the other half and the other seasons. it balences light and dark very nicely i would love for you to react to the show (mayby watch season 1 on twich and then watch rest if you like it) its one of my favorites

MindaRyn is such a vibe, Like Flames is one of my favorite anime songs ever. Definitely check out this show, it is an amazing take on the tired old isekai (other world) genre. The MC is op like most of the other shows, but the way he uses his strength is just...so different.

You're new to Isekai in particular then, because from an Isekai perspective, it is extremely expected and not really dark, more comical

I'm so happy you enjoyed opening 4. I love MindaRyn. I've been following her for years watching her cover songs and enjoying them before she finally got her big moment to do an actual song for anime openings. She's originally from Thailand, and has such an amazing voice. If you have time i definitely recommend checking out her covers and Daylight (which is Arifureta's 2nd opening)

I will say, I guess I am rather new. Most of the isekai's I've watched just start the protagonist in the new world (Overlord, Skeleton Knight in Another World, Ya Boy Konming (for the most part)) but they don't show HOW they got there and what they went through.

Having played a lot of JRPGs and MMOs, Rimiru's slime form looks exactly like I expected. Hell, he's halfway between an Ice Slime and a Blue Slime in Terraria. That aside, I *strongly* recommend watching the full anime. It's amazing.

8:34 - We really can't answer those questions without spoilers. Watch the show, and be prepared for brutally dark episodes as well as light hearted ones. Tensura ultimately heals more than it hurts you, though. I watched it in a rough time and it made the rough time easier. It helps I'm a gamer and avid strategy game enthusiast.

I left a comment on the youtube channel so i’m not gonna comment about Slime but you should definitely react to Kill La Kill Openings and potentially react to the full show. Kill La Kill is extremely well animated and has really fast pacing. Definitely one of my favorites.

so this show is about someone who was reincarnated as a slime in a fantasy-esque world who has a power that'll be explained in the first episode. I actually LOVED this anime and thought the same thing you did about it but was pleasantly surprised by the amount of action, the QUALITY of the action, and the comedy in the show. Definitely a must watch imo

Its mostly about a world building thats about as much as i can say without spoiling series ... slime and his friends etc ...i rewatched the show 3 times now for what is out up untill now and it gets its dark side as well in later episodes quiet a bit! :)

You should totally react to So I’m a Spider. So What. openings and endings. you wont regret it ;) The main character’s voice actor sings the endings and it’s so great. The VA singlehandedly carries the entire show and I’m all here for it It’s a similar concept to Slime except takes the story in a complete 180 direction.

There's probably a massive line for which anime openings you're reacting to next but I highly recommend Seraph of the end the songs are really good and the visuals are wild!

Think it's not unusual to expect comedy from the title (and the anime is lighthearted for the most part). However when someone has watched a bunch of anime of this genre (Isekai - main character summoned or reincarnated into another world) they can vaguely imagine what it may be about. Perhaps also from knowing game tropes. Slimes are usually known as the very basic first monsters you encounter in a game. So the anime is likely about someone starting out in another world as this 'weakest monster'. Though if it follows the trend of most Isekai, likely with some cheat-like ability or power that lets the main-char thrive even with such a weak start.

no when i first read of this the image i had in my head (as Ive played plenty of RPGs) was a slime hat looks similar to the Dragon Quest slimes.... which is pretty much exactly what RImiru looks like. I wasnt expecting something that looked like Nickelodeon slime or looks like you got hit by slimer from Ghostbusters.. so I got exactly what I expected

Great anime^^ pretty lighthearted but it does not fear to show its dark side :D this one, Overlord, Saga of the Tanya, Re:Zero or even Im spider so what all great choices i would be more than happy to see next after AoT :)
