The anime is ok if you didnt read the manga before it, season 2 doesnt follow the manga at all (but its still ok regardless) and season 3 and 4 are just completely rushed. The manga is 10/10, really wish they would do a reboot of the anime.

First season of Tokyo Ghoul is insane, the rest are good. Honestly I'd suggest watching the anime first or else you'll just be disappointed by what could have been in the later seasons of tokyo ghoul. It's very dark overall, the author calls it a tragedy in the opening line of the manga. I'd love to see you react to the Jormungand series openings / endings

I've only seen the anime and I agree that season 1 is pretty good. However, the rest of the series is a frustrating mess.

For the live action anime you described that you were trying to find, try looking up "death note live action ryuk" and see if that's what you saw, otherwise i can't think of anything else that sounds like what you described XD

Why hasn't someone made a better Tokyo Ghoul anime yet? That's a bit of a sore subject in the TG community. It's probably not gonna happen so people get upset thinking about it.

"Seasons die one after another" by Amazarashi is an phenomenal song, and Amazarashi is a true artist. He has an acoustic version on THE FIRST TAKE channel- and It'd be amazing to see your reaction to it and Unravel by TK also on THE FIRST TAKE. First take in general has great reaction material I think.

For attack on Titan song requests, look for Hiroyuki Sawano / Project【emU】 “Attack on Titan” suite; covering songs up to this point in season 3. The video features the composer surrounded by an ensemble of musicians & vocalists. This was impressive enough. However the lighting & editing was even more impressive. For example, the video would focus on each musician; only to realized how many instruments were involved
