psychopass is rated R. There are suggestive themes, but no nudity iirc. The subject matter is very dark and heavy, which is why it is rated R.

synopsis of the anime. psycho-pass takes place in some undetermined time in the future when justice is handled by the sibyl system, an AI which can scan a person's brain and determine the liklelihood of them committing a crime. It can even predict that someone will invariably commit a crime in the future and judge them to be guilty before they commit the crime. In this big-brother-esque world, akane tsunemori is just starting at the ministry of justice, and comes across situations that she deems the system's judgement unsatisfactory and eventually learns its secret. the anime deals with several themes including: is perfect justice possible? if so, is it desirable? Who determines what is right? what is the difference between what is right and what is just? It's a cop show with a heavy dose of philosophy.

It is a very gritty anime with lots of blood and psychological themes about human nature starring futuristic polices. It's dark and weird, I think you'd like it quite a bit. I want to put another bloody psychological show with great OPs on your radar: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (English title: When They Cry). Ling Tosite Sigure has always both male and female vocals, it's not a feature, the guitarist is TK and does the male vocals, the bassist is 345 and does the female vocals

Psycho Pass S1 is really 10/10 for me. For S2 they switched writers and the new one couldnt reach Urobuchi lv. The movies are pretty good again as its S3- Rumor is that S4 is coming. The setting is near future and handle a lot of psychological themes. Think you will like the story. Also S1 as one of the best villains written overall in Animes. PLease check the endings too atleast ED 1+ 2 are pretty well liked

Psyco Pass is amazing especially the first part but all of it is really good and it's dark and there's a lot of action to you should also react to the kingdom hearts openings there amazing at least to the first one just to see if you like them

Psycho-pass is one of my favourite settings for shows, anime or live-action, you're on the right track on your thoughts. I would love to see you watch it, Durarara is one of the great ones too. on the OST side, the ghost in the shell movie has some amazing music, and it's the OG of my fascination with these kind of stories.

Season 1 is 10/10 after that it's like 7-8/10 so still pretty good. Psycho Pass is more for adult audience as it has very heavy psychological stuff in it and younger people mostly wouldn't grasp all the nuances the show is trying to tell.

I thought two of the sinners of the system specials were better than season 2 There were a lot of good parts in season 2 as well but yeah not as good as 1. It's like comparing a perfect steak to a good steak, both are good meals but one of them is gonna really stand out and has something special to it

As for the anime, it IS very good (10/10). It has the best character development I've seen in any anime that I can think of. It also has the most well written antagonist in anime that I can think of. I think you'll like it, at least the first 2 seasons. Haven't seen past the second season, so can't say anything about that though. As for "Ling tosite sigure", it is a band, and TK is the lead vocalist. There is also 345 (Miyoko), who is the bass guitarist, and she also does some vocal parts too. You can hear her voice in both "abnormalize" and "Enigmatic Feeling". "TK from Ling tosite sigure" is just TK from "Ling tosite sigure". BTW, it was also my first time listening to the 4th opening.
