Welcome to one of the best and honestly most realistic depictions of trauma in all of fiction.

many people go straight to "Harley Quinn", but the only thing they have in common is their gender. Jinx' personality is far closer to the Joker's and without thirsting and cringe. Nonetheless, Harley gets mentioned the most, so AFTER finishing Arcane, you might want to look at "Harley Quinn vs Jinx Death Battle" to see those very different but so often compared ladies fight it out. Also, consider that the purple Ooze has been worked on and evolved as well. Not only hextech advanced during the timejump. Last but not least: Rethink if Powder wasnt always a bit 'insane'. Some 11-year-old girl making nailbombs? Having massive abandonement-issues, going in a full breakdown when left behind? Even on the bridge in the very first scene, you can see the scratchmarks of Powder's mind on some of the dead bodies. I suppose being attached to her older sister always kept her more or less stable, until it did not. Trauma and being raised by Silco didnt help, either.

Jinx was based off of joker and harley quinn and others, so your comparison isn't unfounded, this story just breaks her character down into the less exaggerated and puts a sort of realistic take on her "condition". Instead of just crazy because crazy is cool.

no brainwashing, just hiemerdinger wanted him to do research and not announce anything new, where as mel wanted him to announce something new and progress forward without stopping, hence him stuttering there and contemplating what to say.

The reason Caitlyns dress is "not practical" is because this is ceremonial dress. Caitlyns mother doesent want her to get hurt or in that carrer even, so she doesent have other police dress. She should be guarding her mothers tent.

As for Silo's eye... I episode three as you see in his flashbacks to Vander drowning him; you can see that he has a cut across his nose and his "bad eye" is blacked out. When he's talking to Vander he says: "Do you know what it's like? when the river toxins eat through your nerves?" So, it's a nerve destroying toxin that entered through his eye, he uses the device to deliver small doses of shimmer (aka purple ooze) into his eye to help with the pain/stop with the toxins from eating further into his nerves.

Also, she had created a Chibi puppet of Calggor that's hanging up next to the Milo's dummy. If you look closely, you'll see that he had Claggor's googles which he had on when he died, and she removed the pieces of glass that had his blood stained on them.

Jinx is more the Joker than Harley Quinn but I guess it comes naturally to get the Harley vibes. She was inspired by the Joker, Helena Bonham carter aaaand...Gollum :D Also, react to the Enemy Music video when you've finished Episode 7

Many people get the Harley vibes from Jinx. :) Also if it helps: Jayce is the inventory, Viktor is his partner (the sickly one), Silco is the main bad guy that took Powder in, Caitlyn/Cait is the police woman, Ekko is the kid with the white hair in the previous episodes. Many of the "main'ish" characters are from the game, but not all. Its kind of a parallel world. Enjoying the reactions!
