According to the creator of this Manga/anime the Manga is now in its final phase and everything up until now (25 years) are a build up to this. So the manga will be probably over in 5 years and the Anime maybe in 7-8? Who knows at this point.

You comented about being confused about Luffy's power. All we can say is he's made out rubber. Really, the thing with his power is how creative he gets with it. He can increase blood circulation to insane heights because his blood vessels won't rupture, or inflate his bones as some very tough balloon.

If you go in with an open mind you might love it. But there are many things that make this anime extremely goofy and hard to take serious at times imo. And certain things the author does that gets pretty repetitive. You gotta watch it to decide for yourself though, it is a good story

Would definitwly recommend watching one piece but if you do. Any less than 10 episodes a week and you’ll be stuck on it forever. Its a slow story and its still going on to this day 25 years in the making. But the story although slow is amazing with incredible world building and characters

One Piece is still going on but we are slowly reaching the end. It is a long story yes but you'll definitely love it if you give it a chance. It is one of the best animes for a reason. I hope you'll watch it someday :)

Lol no. The author himself said a couple of months ago that the story is entering its final saga after the wano arc. Oda saying the story only being half way done is like 7-8 years old news at this point.

I think the author has stated he plans to end the manga in about 4-5 years, and the anime is about 8-12 months behind, so it may be that the show will be finished in about 5-6 years. If you watch a few other a few other animes first and then start one piece in the next 2-3 years you may actually catch up as it's finishing, so you'd avoid having to wait a week per episode

IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!! Okie, first, Luffy’s name is more pronounced like “rooffy” 😅. Second, That last opening is the newest opening but it’ll probably be changing again soon once the Arc hits its final stage.Third, once you start OP, you’ll learn that Oda is a fucking mastermind 😅😅 Like AOT, everything is tied together. Like, a small insignificant scene from season one can come back in like 400 episodes. Fifthly, Every opening suits it’s Arc, or section of Arc. So whereas, to a noob 😜, it may seem random, but it’s actually not. 6th, This show is inspirational, emotional, happy, light hearted, dark, sad, etc. It approaches so many dark themes Like slavery/human trafficking. It’s a very long rabbit hole to go down but 100000000000000% worth it. Also, all the characters are completely wacky and badass 😅 Like, can you imagine gaining a power where only half your body is a duck?!!? Like, it’s a real duck but only like your head or something 😅😅😅😅 BTW, I didn’t spoil anything bc I made that one up (at least we haven’t came across one yet, it is One Piece, after all, anything is possible 😂😂) I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really hope you decided to react to it. Hope you enjoyed these openings of One Piece! Ja ne!

Luke, you will cry your eyes out. be sure to have a box of facial tissue nearby when you start watching one piece. I just started and it is one emotional rollercoaster of a ride. Dont let the happy go lucky feel of the intros fool you haha my friends warned me, now i'm warning you. This anime plays with your heart strings. You will laugh, you will cry, sometimes you'll do both hahahaha. And i am not an emotional person by any means, but the voice actors/actresses man, they cut through so hard. Definitely watch it casually, i havent even scratched the surface, Luffy still at the beginning of his journey and i'm loving it. The art style is really interesting and really does give you a feel that the world of one piece is vast. Definitely check it out

The character might be looking a bit wacky and weird, but because of that you remember just about every character, because they look so wildly different. Also if you start watching the show, you'll notice that not only do they look different, but every notable character also have a unique laugh, which is cool if you ask me :D

You should definitely watch it, probably not post each episode reaction because of its link. A reaction to every arc tho, maybe showing highlights that really got you. Watch atleast until the end of the Arlong Park arc before u decide anything about continuing to watch or not.

This show is DEFINITELY a must watch. I recommend watching a minimum of 4 episodes a week. But most would say 10 just so you can catch up quickly. The show is ongoing but it seems like it is nearing the end(in about 5 years😅🤷‍♀️). When it comes to fillers, I personally like them but you can watch them off camera on your own time if you want. Most skip the fillers which is sad because they are pretty good for fillers. One of my favorite anime reactors skipped fillers at first but then decided to watch them and totally regretted skipping them. There tends to be toxic people that try to rush you by telling you to watch 10+ a week and to skip fillers. Anyways, if you want some spoiler free content to watch about One Piece; there is a awesome video that shows the beauty of the world in One Piece. One of the many things I love about this show is how intricate and detailed everything is. How the ships work, how each island is, the weather, races, animals, the LORE😱, and so much more! The lore specifically is one of the best there is! You can find a secret that's forshadowing lore in the first handful of episodes only to actually find out in the reveal hundreds of episodes later! The world is SOOOOO detailed and well made!

Just an FYI the Romance Dawn part is a filler that was what one piece was ORIGINALLY going to be, before Oda had established the plot of the story. Chapter One is actually called Romance Dawn

Noma_art Okay I'm way too passionate about One Piece so I'm gonna drop this here a few weeks late, bare with me if you ever read this :D So a quick summary, the author Eiichiro Oda has been drawing one piece for over 23 years now, the world building is on an absolute next level. The series is split into Arcs 11 in total, all of those have their own plots as arcs usually do in anime. One piece also has 15 movies, that is including the newest film Red. There are also specials on top of those. However the anime has so many fillers that it's very slow progress, some of the episodes are literally just one page in the manga. And the reason for it is that when other anime series usually have breaks between seasons, One piece does not. The fillers and stretching are there so that the show doesn't catch up with the manga plot. And they do not have breaks because in Japan one piece is a prime time show, it's not just an anime show, it's something everyday people watch. They fear people could stop watching it and rating will go down even if it comes back on later. The first long hiatus is actually going to be right now. As the authors health has taken many bad turns during the years, and now the manga has slowed down significantly compared to what it used to be in the beginning. There is also a life action netflix series coming in and Eiichiro Oda will travel to the US for it. So even the anime will be on halt for some time now after the latest arc and the Red movie are out. So all in all. The anime is good, but it's slow as hell. The long openings are partly because they needed more filling to the episode run time, but also because One piece doesn't have endings. If you ever feel like checking it out. Read the manga. It is long yes, but compared to the show it's fast. Then Watch the movies and the best parts of the anime, that way you get the most out of it. But it is a massive show no matter how you get into it. I've been a fan for 16 years, and all the other anime I watch have started and ended while this one just keeps going strong and still will for at least a few years. In Japan One Piece is the absolute number one best selling series. Very few manga or anime have ever been close to it in popularity. Demon slayer actually went close, Eiichiro Oda himself congratulated the author for it. It was such a big thing to get even close to One Piece in sells. So well end of my lecture here, hope it explained somethings. It truly is a wonderful series that many people grew up with, myself included. It's mostly happy and goofy, full of action, but it has it's darkness and heartbreak in as well. It's a roller coaster full of life. The style is unique to say the least, but that gives it the life it needs to go on for so long.

“Wake Up” is probably my second least favorite after “We Are (TVXQ Remix) Not sure why I don’t like “Wake Up” as plenty do but there’s something off about it for me 😂 My favorites are “Hope” “Super Powers” and “Hands up”

One piece was the first anime I started watching, and even now, even if I saw many great shows and animes since then, One Piece is still my absolute favorite. It's a story about friendship, about sadness, about trust, the truth and the people who want to hide it, a story about family, about loss, about slavery, loneliness, about... so many things ! One Piece will always be my favorite show ❤

Friend of mine read the manga within a week and a bit last month. He loved it to bits. It's 100% worth getting in to. I've watched/rewatched the anime about 3-4 times now and never not had fun. Currently undergoing my 5th rewatch, this time with friends. We're watching about 10 eps a week and have reached the first 100 marker. Doesn't feel like it's been a long journey so far and we're all enjoying ourselves. Binging is definitely the way to go, though - sit through a set amount and then cut up the reactions over a week. 10 eps is about 2-3 hours of watch time.

It doesn't really have that much filler in comparison to other anime. Take Naruto with it's 40% filler vs One Piece's -10%. The main issue is that there is some pacing issues here and there but binging episodes during those arcs really helps eliminate the feeling of slow movement. What filler the anime does have can either be skipped (the mini-arc types) are are used to enhance aspects of the story (I know people got peeved at some of the DR 'filler' and flashbacks but they really helped enhance the situations and were great for reinforcing the emotions at the time they were shown.) Besides, I'll take all of One Piece filler over the stuff that Bleach or Naruto or other anime call filler any day. It's filler, but it's quality (bar Foxy. Pls. No.) Just had to point this out, sorry~
