The thing is: as the stories of each season progresses new things will be known to the viewers. And at a certain point, the intros change a few things and reflect those newly known things. Thats why a few openings were twice in it. I can only recommend this anime! Absolutly love it and its definitly one of my all time favorites! And everything will make perfect sense once you actually watch it. The anime is crazy bizarre, but thats its own personal charme.

Check out "86" anime openings & endings too =). Btw watching JoJo feels like you are on crack, so you having that reaction from openings is nothing compared to actually watching it.

JoJo takes place over the course of around 150 years. Each season the main character is a new member of the Joestar family (always technically called "JoJo"). It is a fucking fantastic show would 100% recommend watching it.

Just so you know some street fighter characters were based off JoJos characters because JoJo came out like in the late 80s if I am remembering correctly, possibly early 90s. Off the top of my head guile is one of them

So the openings make a little bit more sense with context. But they are still pretty damn weird and all over the place, which is in line for Jojo's.
