there is many other serieslike Kizumonogatari, Nekomonogatari, Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Hanamonogatari, Tsukimonogatari, Owarimonogatari Koyomimonogatari(i skipped some short arc) and all of this called monogatari series

Each of the seasons of the Monogatari Series has a different prefix (Bake-, Nise-, etc.) and the suggested order to watch by most people is the airing order, which can be found easily online. The series follows (mostly) one protagonist, Araragi, as he deals with paranormal occurrences surrounding each of the girls in the openings. Something I find funny is that unlike other anime that change openings after a number of episodes or after each arc, in Monogatari each opening reflects who the main girl is in the current episode and it can actually go back to a previous opening if needed. Also the openings' imagery is very symbolic of each girls' past and/or personality, but they do not reveal almost anything about the plot, that may be the reason you were confused by trying to figure out what the anime is about by just watching them haha
