yeeeeh the character definitely did not say "Shion"...... Try separate the 2 and pronounce Shi-no and you are there.... or Si-non in game.... or Shi-no-non coz it's cute. It's like saying "on" and "no" and "non" is the same pronunciation..... It's literally the same way you say it in English so there's no excuse :D Shion is in Slime.

You asked what anime should replace sword art online In my opinion I really think you would enjoy assassination classroom but in dubbed and before anyone Roast me for saying that hear me out the first time I ever watched assassination classroom I watched it fully through in the original subbed and I really enjoyed it. It instantly became a top 30 anime of all time fore me but then I thought to myself I wonder if the dubbed version is any good and to my surprise i really like it and watched it all the way through in the dubbed version and i actually thought it was better than the subbed version and let me explain why I think the dubbed is better 1. The casting for all of the characters was amazing and the voices suits each of the different characters perfectly. 2. Each of the voices for every character is so different and unique that let's say I put assassination classroom dubbed on my TV in the living room and I was in the kitchen doing dishes mind you I can't see the TV from the kitchen but I can hear it I can tell and know 100% which character is talking just by the sound of there voice because each character voice is so unique and different and not bland or generic at all. 3. The dubbed version is way way way funnier compared to the subbed. 4. The Final thing that made me like the dubbed version over the subbed version is. The dubbed version was able to make me cry where the subbed version didn't.

I think some anime that can replace sao : 1. SAO Alternative Gun Gale Online REASON: What else to explain besides same title same concept different cast. 2. Charlotte Reason: short anime only 13 episode,already finish. Focus on drama with little bit of action. 3. Accell World Reason: same creator, potential become sao sequel 4. Shangri-la frontier Vrmmo world, mc with high game iq.

28:00 I had EXACTLY the same reaction when I saw Goddess Asuna appear! 37:10 That tear rolling down Kirito's cheek after Asuna walks in always gets me. 44:10 The start of how Asuna described what in happening in the real world sounds so fucking epic, like, what I would want to hear if there WERE gods and such fighting for the world. 55:40 One of my favorite scenes in SAO, when "the girls" all have a sleepover about the Black Swordsman.

I know for a fact that I could never rip my eye out of its socket. 1:59:30 The next "hypest moment!" 2:00:00 The thing a lot of folks forget at this point is that one, the bad guys had NO idea any actually gamers were involved with the Underworld, and two, Asuna has NO idea that Yui is able to watch her back. So, Asshole gets hard when he sees his archnemesis's girlfriend there, thinking Kirito would be with her, and if any of the SAO crew show up, Asuna is gonna lose her shite because she was sure that she was on her own, unless her man woke up. 2:21:13 See, I heard Asuna say "See-non" and Sinon sound like "She-non" when she arrived. Luke, I was usually hearing you saying "She-on," no? 2:29:46 No matter how many times I see this scene, it always makes me sooooooo fucking uneasy. 2:43:00 And, the next next "hypest moment!!!!!" Man, it is so hard nor going and binging the rest, but I gotta see this reaction through to the end. It is such a WONDERFUL event.

It not an unnecessary or random scene , it realistic and dark. Ofc they can leave the scene out but the fact the scene make you uncomfortable is a truth that it work. Same reason you hating on villain, meaning it is a good villain.

Of course Liz's finest moment in the series - that speech that convinced the unwilling ALO players to convert their accounts to the Underworld - would have Unlasting being sung in the background - that's how you know it's her finest moment in the series (not that the speech wasn't great in the first place).

The speech scene seemed much better in the dub, not sure why. Remember it being really good when watched in dub years ago, but didn't feel it as much now

Maybe it's explained in the novels, but I'm really confused how people without STL are able to interact with Underworld. I thought the whole point was that there is no graphics engine rendering the world and effects there, but it all happens by interacting with your soul to create the visuals and experiences? I know Underworld was made with Seed, so I can understand why accounts can be ported to Underworld (since all Seed accounts can migrate between Seed worlds), but shouldn't anyone that joins just see a totally blank world with no visuals and no means to move around, or shouldn't they immediately crash and be booted due to the lack of STL? If non-STL tech could interact with this world all along, then why wasn't Asuna allowed to visit Kirito in there sooner, and once the attack happened / Kirito's brain got damaged, why didn't they immediately send in more people to retrieve Alice?

Because while that world is not made out of polygons, there is a main system that runs Underworld that the Fluctlights are interacting with which can in lesser quality be accessed by AmuSphere/NerveGear technology as well due to Underworld using The Seed as its base but only when the time acceleration is 1:1 can non-STL tech be used "If non-STL tech could interact with this world all along, then why wasn't Asuna allowed to visit Kirito in there sooner" ignoring the 1:1 requirement for a bit it is for the same reason as to why Asuna did not jump into the STL earlier either Asuna and the Rath members did not even know Kirito retained his memories while being in the STL to recover his brain damage "and once the attack happened / Kirito's Fluctlight* got damaged, why didn't they immediately send in more people to retrieve Alice? " Cause the time acceleration was after the call ended set back to 1000:1 to give Kirito more time to reach the World End Altar (and the bad guys did not change that either to have more time to look for Alice) making non-STL tech not work to begin with and keep in mind that the Rath group were actively getting shot at and had to run and set up the sub/second control room which clearly took some time and each minute is 16 hours in underworld so it took a while for them to even know that Kirito Fluctlight was indeed damaged and them thinking of how to deal with that would also have taken more than a few minutes so with that said if I recall correctly around 4.5/5 hours have passed after Kirito's call ended and Asuna joining underworld which is also around the time the acceleration was set back to 1:1 and the bad guy's group started advertising a beta test to America hope this has cleared some of your confusion ^_^ (side note but if it was only Fluctlights/STL users that could interact with Underworld the big screen for example would not have been able to show the Underworld like it does either)

Sorry for this kinda late reply From what I know Accel World can be seen as an alternative future that the Sword Art Online universe could have become, if unknown events went differently in the SAO novel volumes or volumes yet to be written As while the SAO light novels/anime do have already introduced indirect connections to Accel World It becoming the Accel World series as we know it would require that Kirito and co get quite a bad ending and we know from the author that they do not want the SAO series itself to end in a bad ending like that
