THIS EPISODE WAS BRILLIANT AND THE ENDING... I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Here is the NEW PATREON EXCLUSIVE series reaction to Bocchi The Rock Episode 10!

Enjoy!!

Comments

Hwiyeop Kim

Can't believe the show is already coming to an end...so sad

Patirck Ibasco

Are we getting 3 episodes this weekend? Or will episode 12 be for next weekend?

TheBigOhm

For a super sus anime, Prison School is a great comedy choice. Also Kill la kill

Marcio Neves

The festival thing is a real deal on Japan, indeed. Not sure if they are as POMPOUS and elaborated as the animes portrait them, but they do exist as part of their school life. Maybe NOT all schools do it, but most do. And it goes all the way since nursery/elementary until grad school/universities

Daniel Griffiths

is anyone game for Tokyo ghoul? very violent and copyrights a bitch

Daniel Griffiths

tomorrow is the worst cliffhanger in anime history imo lol

maattthhhh

Because Bocchi got sick at the end of the previous episode, she needed to catch up on some lessons she missed. That's what the makeup classes are for.

Hungryfalcon 758

how about 'food wars' as super sus and good anime or just 'highschool dxd', 'the testament of sisters new devil' or 'demon king daimao'

RiftRusher

Its Either A place further than the universe and ya boy kongming to win. very short for patreon exclusive just like bocchi

Sumic

yesssss, so happy to hear a place further than the universe is doing well. There isn't enough reaction content to this anime, but my gorsh is it one of the best animes everrrrrr

Kenny Vu

Bocchi so brave!

Potter889

Monogatari is returning tomorrow so maybe at least consider putting the first season (30 ep, 3 short movies) in the poll. It’s not the most explicit but it is very sus, but also very good and not just about the sus. Many sus anime have the sus as the selling point which can get tiering after a point, but for Monogatari the sus is a bonus that often has meaning even if it is not clear without an explanation

古河渚

I'm all on board for A Place Further than the Universe, truly awesome and inspirational show. Putting Sound! Euhponium here again too, just in case (I cope), it's just too good of a music anime on the more serious side to not be watched.

Earl Preston

I generally watch 3 to 4 anime a season and missed this when it came out. I finally watched it about a month before you started it on patreon. I absolutely loved it!!! I'm an in-between when it comes to social anxiety. I don't have problems going into stores or public festivals. I don't easily strike up a conversation with strangers. small talk is definitely a cringe area for me. I can do it on autopilot but actively being interesting is hard. I did join an astronomy club which has really helped. I even have started doing daytime sun observing with my telescope at a park (with special filters of course). im there a couple hours on a Saturday when thd weather's good and people come and ask so I chat. I guess what I'm saying is I'm not an outreach type person. I generally can't strike up a conversation out of thin air. I also can easily be on my own at an event and still enjoy my time their. but joining the club certainly helped.

BondePower

I think a place further than the universe would be a great patreon only!

Earl Preston

oh for a sus anime highschool dxd!!!! boobs galore ;D. but there is a plot and the animation and character development is better than it seems it's given credit for. plus it's 4 seasons if you want lengthy runtime.

BondePower

Most likely ep 12 next weekend. It will even out with the next series though since a place further than the universe is 13 episodes!

Billy Dowd

Something that would probably have to be patreon exclusive but is really good is Golden Kamuy

Johnny Green

I would say highschool DXD, highschool of the dead or maybe gushing over magical girls as a good/funny sus anime. Don't know if you have reacted to these previously, I'm kinda new around here :)

dpolaristar

Harem in the Labyrinth in Another World for sus.

Ryan

i will be lost in the sea of recommendations but GIRLS LAST TOUR!!!!!!

_TKD_

My first choice would be Monogatari first season, but it's apparently already been decided that APFTTU is next according to what Luke has said on twitch.

Silver

3:26 I guess I won't recommend Redo of Healer then 😂

Potter889

Well that would be disappointing if true. It’s not that APFTTU is bad. It’s quite good. It’s just that I thought the whole point he always makes is that all us viewers run what we watch, and it doesn’t make sense that he would not let his thousands of Patreon subscribers vote but decide based on a handful of recommendations and likes.

Shinra

Ishuzoku reviewers for sus.

dpolaristar

The Keychains Eliza pulled up are a reference to another show Cloverworks was working on called Slow Loop, in Slow Loop there actually is a cameo of the Kessuko band performing at their own cultural festival.

LuciusDaLuster

I couldn't concentrate for a few first minutes because your hat looks like it's from some sadomason brand

LuciusDaLuster

For YouTube reaction you can go with My Deer Friend. It's coming out now, it has a lot of hype and it's hilarious.

axolotl

Supersus good anime: Gushing Over Magical Girls - it’s fresh (2024), and there’s only 13 episodes. Highschool DxD is also great - permanent classic of ecchi genre, based on fantasy.

Jon Wake

The best sus anime is either My Dress-Up Darling, which is wholesome but horny as hell, or Gushing over Magical Girls, which is not wholesome at all and I regret nothin.

dpolaristar

K-On is on HDive

FaerieRose

A Place Further Than the Universe is not the train anime. It’s the Antarctica anime.

moop1789 .

K-On has 41 Episodes (Including 5 OVA's) and a Movie

Crunchy Potato

When it comes to good "sus" animes, Food Wars will always be one of my top recommendations.

Soulseller33

If you wanna do a super sus Good anime. Its Prison School or Grand Blue.

GhostZethAaa

Kill La Kill definitely a contender for the best sus anime

Taparo

Ikkitousen is a great sus anime

Shengbo Jia

Vivy is honestly one of the best music themed anime I have ever watched. its a music-scifi-action show that really pulls your heartstrings. plus good scifi anime is pretty rare imo.

_____ Rasse _____

If you want a super sus anime that's also just good, my recommendation is Gushing Over Magical Girls. As for what I hope to see after Bocchi, I vote for Ya Boy Kongming.

_____ Rasse _____

Please react to the opening for Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan (My Deer Friend Nokotan)

Wojciech Drewing

hmmm... I wonder if the first few minutes of Elfen Lied count as sus anime 😂

tyler Pantaleo

Sound! Euphonium is my choice for you to watch after bocchi.

CurrentlyCrowe

I'm glad you see the vision that Hitori best girl

Nate Ming

Best sus anime: GOLDEN BOY Get you a classic

Pega

Golden Kamuy is the best Patreon super sus anime for you

Nate Ming

Love this, the "Bocchi drops acid" episode

Talix Rune

Symphogear still gets my vote for sure

nanda kore

How about more band anime. girls band cry

theAlexYou ProbablyDontKnow

I got attached to Bocchi too and just want her to succeed. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes.

MatiX

Vivy as next patreon exlusive would be great

axolotl

First few minutes of Elfen Lied is a full package.)

axilir21

Elfen lied is definitely a Patreon exclusive show because of the gore and nudity

Dylan Cromche

high school dxd is super sus but also hilarious and actually has a pretty good plot

MAH1RO

Before Bocchi the band in "Angel beats" was the most accurate. I learned parts of their songs on guitar just by looking at the chords the characters play and then filled in the rest.

Lu C

What about an anime that is classic like Ghost in the Shell SAC - it's cyperpunk, has also adorable AIs, great action and interesting plot, has beautiful insert songs in OST, also has some sus - it has 2 seasons with 26 ep each + OVA film - currently it's still available on Japanese Netflix with ENG subs + the Ghost in the Shell franchise influenced many other shows/movies worldwide including Vivy

Beldark

Vivy would be amazing overall for a Patreon exclusive

Ara Araragi

Casting my vote for Vivy as the next Patreon exclusive, but I won't complain if we get A Place Further Than the Universe first.

MAH1RO

And you REALLY HAVE TO check all the meme and anime references that are hidden in Bocchi the Rock after finishing the series :D It feels like half of the anime is just memes, refs and funny ideas. The nice thing about this series is: it was not one producer and the employees just followed his orders. Everyone could throw in their weirdest and funniest ideas. And most of the time the lead producer was like "I like it, go for it". And there is even a live stage play in japan now and the main actress is just really like you would imagine Bocchi in real life, even behind the scenes xD

Lu C

Full Metal Panic! - it blends mecha, alternative history, school life, humor, action and sus - has 3 seasons with together 49 ep and a parody season of 12 ep between seasons1 and 2

Zer0

Kill la Kill should before anything super sus

DeusSilvam

K-On is the option that is most like Bocchi. The focus is less on the music, but as it is longer, the good feels also continue longer. And the characters are all just as likeable (if not more) than the ones in Bocchi. Very enjoyable and wholesome show. A Place Further Than the Universe is an awesome anime and a great choice as well, so wouldn't be at all upset if that would be the next choice. And like Nate Ming already metioned in another reply, if you want a properly "sus" show, you should watch Golden Boy. It is the OG sus show and it might also be the funniest anime ever. While there are plenty of really funny shows out there, I'm not sure if anything else ever got me laughing quite as much as Golden Boy, back when I originally watched it.

Hinokaga

Lets stick to music anime for patreon vivy would be good Carole and tuesday im surprised no has ever brought up Beck Mongolian chop squad, those snow white notes, k-on, Kono oto Tomare is a really good one too if luke did Beck i would literally ship him a dvd copy if he needed it lol i got a few lying around

Ara Araragi

16:28 I love the manager sticking up for Bocchi and calling Ryo and Hiroi (Drunk Senpai) "garbage humans" 🤣

Ara Araragi

The name Eliza has been around since biblical times, but became popularized as an English name during the Elizabethan era (go figure). A more modern association of "Eliza = English name" is probably because of the character Eliza Doolittle from Pygmalion/My Fair Lady.

Zer0

Horrific. Sus would be the rest of the anime.

Pale

Tengenn Toppa Gurren lagann is 27 episodes long (plus movies and specials)

Cary Lee

you should do girls band cry :)

Nicolas Castro

Hopefully the next reaction is A Place Further than the Universe, it's an incredible anime

Hwiyeop Kim

Idol Sister is an 'anime' that has both the music and sus 😏😏😏 jokes aside, I wonder when the poll is gonna happen because the new show should be starting next week. Gonna miss Bocchi it's a shame this anime only has 12 eps

Dominique Stoel

If you want sus then you can't go wrong with Kill la Kill. It's so unapologetically sus that it's circles back around to being normal. It's also just an absolute wild ride from start to finish. It's the show that put Studio Trigger on the map, the same studio (and director) that made Cyberpunk Edgerunners and Promare. The director also did Gurren Lagann and Panty and Stocking with Gainax, before everyone left to start Studio Trigger.

Kumeufuta

Yeah,real thing!

MegumiMary

ZOMBIELAND SAGA!!!

Yui

K-ON! has 2 seasons. The first season has 13 episodes + 1 OVA. The second season has 26 episodes + 1 OVA. Then there is a canon movie to finish the series. It's a show where it gets better and better as it goes. As others have said, it would be a great continuation from Bocchi because it has a similar vibe but with more episodes. K-ON! might be disregarded because it's a little older than some of the other choices, but at the time it was a huge hit and it's well deserving of the praises it does get.

ZckFox

Not sure if it has copyright issues for reactors, but Cowboy Bebop has an insert song in pretty much every episode so it might be good a Patreon exclusive. As far as sus anime, depending on how far you are going. Highschool DxD is the usual go to suggestion.

MegumiMary

Eliza is a nickname for Elizabeth which happens to be one of my two middle names

MegumiMary

Also Yui is voiced by my all time favorite Voice Acress Stephanie Sheh in the english dub There's also a very funny translation moment when they couldn't make the pun for one of the sons work when Yui was explaining it because the pun only works in Japaneese but the Songs are still sung in Japaneese (thank god they didn't try to translate the lyrics like some anime do) so it lead to her saying "Frice" instead of "Go-han" (the pun was a play on five and rice) Me watching this dub and realizing that was the bit was one of those moments when I realized how well I was starting to absorb some of my Japaneese Language lessons...

Dresz Seven

Hack sick is god

Dresz Seven

You should listen to the full version of the song i'm the only gost by sick hack

Marcio Neves

WOA, that's quite an AWESOME suggestion. Very sus, and VERY VERY awesome. And also very short: only 6 episodes (actually classified as 6 OVAs). But all worthy 😁. I think Luke would LOVE Kintaro 😁

Marcio Neves

13:55 from Picaso to Van Gogh in a flash 😁

Antoine Coles

Full metal panic is something I would love to see him react to its a wholes package.

Rohim

Luke, hope you’d be react to the full version of the psychedelic rock SICK HACK ‘s song Watashi Dake Yuurei.

Chavakun

the another familiar ceiling reference still cracks me up like the first time I heard it lol by the way a good sus anime can be high school DxD just saying

This Guy

My suggestions for the next patreon exclusive: 1) Ya Boy Kong Ming 2) Vivy 3) Your lie in April 4) Food wars 5) Dororo Would love to see your reactions to them, that said I love all your reactions, really genuine and enjoyable as a viewer!

Jin Axel

Hoping for K-On to be one of the shows that will be reacted one day.

Aserth

Keeping on the music theme why not watch Ya Boy Kongmin?

David Guevara

I really really REALLY highly suggest Zombieland Saga.

Mr. Dog

If you want a super sus anime that is actually good I know a few that are quite old from early 2000s. Here are the ones I'll recommend: Mouse Iketteru Futari Jungle wa Isumo Hare Nochi Guu DearS High School of the Dead Hanankyou Maids They are My Noble Masters He is My Master Ikkitousen Vandread Tsukuyomi Moon Phase Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts) Abenoboshi Kemeko DX I My Me Strawberry Eggs Those Who Hunt Elves DNA² Agent Akia OVAs

sadaholic

I still think you need to react to The Dangers in my Heart. It has two seasons and is a really really feel-good, character development driven show. I think it’d make a great replacement for Bocchi the Rock too. Both give you that sense of pride and proudness over the characters in a similar way, and there’s 26 episodes for you to check out of it. I think season 3 was confirmed too? But I’m not exactly sure. Anyways yeah I think it’d be a good anime for you to watch

sadaholic

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions would also be a REALLY good reaction show. It’s a really funny romcom with batshit insane fight scenes. Two seasons + a movie too. Def worth the check out

Lu C

Agree, for the first time viewer the order should be: - FMP S1 - FMP Fumoffu - FMP Second Raid - FMP Invisible Victory Fumoffu still explores the character dynamics further even with its focus change to comedy. Also English DUB is good here, few FMAB voice actors appear.

Lu C

Vandread is an older 'sus' anime, even though the only part that might require censorship is one of the endings, maybe both, I didn't see them for a while. It has only 2 short seasons, so in total 26 ep. Plot - mankind explores space and at some point splits into 2 fractions according to gender and wage war... 3 males end up on a female pirate ship... Imho it's still twitch/YT friendly.

rostikowb

Kill la Kill

Lu C

Black lagoon, it's sus to NSFW. Violence, pirates, action, heavy swearing, great English dub - mix of races and nationalities, set in a fictional port city in Thailand.

Lu C

Samurai champloo - blends hip hop with Edo period, although it looks like a very strange combination it works. Also shows many different aspects of japanese history, culture, art...

Nobue Itou

If you want to stick to the theme of music anime with heart it really should be K-On.

Kitsune

Prison School is crazy sus but hilarious

Martin Vaclavik

Please please please please pretty please react to the full song from this episode! It's SICK HACK - Watashi Dake Yuurei ♥ Or better yet - when you finish last episode, react to all the songs from the anime, there's an entire album from Kessoku band as well! :D

Damian

I would love to see Luke's reaction for the beginning!!

Ral Zarek

Prison school is very VERY Sus but more important than that, its maybe the funniest show ive ever seen with total balls to the wall crazy humor so i would highly recommend it for a patreon exclusive

Helix

Horimiya or Darling in the Franxx!!

AngelGxbriel

Food wars for twitch and Prison school for patreon, but I want SONNY BOY to be given a chance

David Case

What Luke says here is true. THINK about whether you'd regret it or not, and that goes both ways. I had a girl I liked in high school, and you could say you'd regret not telling her, so I did. It created a really uncomfortable situation for the next 2 and a half years at school and my parents said I've gone into my shell and shriveled up permanently since then. I can't tell myself, but I do think I can feel I'm a whole lot less outgoing and seem to appreciate things less than I should. Here, I didn't consider just how much I would regret actually acting on my decision. So yes. Think about the outcome both ways. If you feel prepared and truly believe you won't regret it till the day you die, go for it.

Arrxzon

idk about K-On. to be honest, not sure if it will have aged well for me anyway, maybe i remember it wrong so could be good I hope you'd enjoy as I have when it came out.\ edit: it's been suggested but maybe Girls Band Cry might be the one though i haven't finished it myself to say. it's been real good so far

Hecate

Jellyfish cant swim at night

Cédric Michaud

Like you said Vivy can be a good idea, or like other people said in this comment Girls Band Cry, Jellyfish can't swim at night, Kono Oto Tomare! or Ya Boy Kongming.

Cédric Michaud

Kono Oto Tomare is so good, I've just discovered it thanks to a meme on Reddit and it is amazing.

Cédric Michaud

For really good super sus anime, there's Gushing over Magical Girl (really sus, some interesting story twists imo) or Chivalry of a Failed Knight, not the more sus anime ever, but it's ecchi and also really good.

kiwi

I'll once again throw in my recommendation of Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song. Absolutely amazing show, and the copyright around it means it could only be a Patreon exclusive.

kiwi

Nijika's "Boo-womp" sound effect is from spongebob. I find that scene absolutely hilarious.

Palemlem

Nana or Ya boi Kongming would be my calls NSFW Anime with good Story the only that comes to mind for me would be Highschool DxD and Redo of Healer

danielhakushi

Danshi-Koukousei-no-Nichijou. Peak Comedy from Boys for Boys ^^

One G. O A. T. One Dream

oh super Sus... welll ... Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete I mean MC literally has Bocchi x Overlord energy, without saying to much. ... but also sigh... no! im joking please stay away from that show, I watched it because my sanity was already ruined, you still have a family and chance making it in to heaven.

Overlord_Ashalon

Cultural Festival (the thing they're doing here) and Sports Festival are a real thing.

Overlord_Ashalon

It's possible she drinks for nerves, it's also possible she's a functional drunk. A functional drunk gets so dependent on alcohol, they actually can't function without it.

Hamza Stiti

super sus but good huh. Interspieces reviewers and Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete are easy choices here

Overlord_Ashalon

Eliza is a shortened version of Elizabeth. Not saying that her name is Elizabeth, just that it's a shortened version of the name.

Overlord_Ashalon

A makeup lesson for missing class because she knocked herself out.

WWEdeadman

You know, with Place further than the universe leading before Paripi Komei and Vivy, how about you just do those 3 in succession. They're all short after all.

WWEdeadman

As for super sus good anime, Highschool DxD, I keep telling you it's actually a good show on top of being super sus.

Julián Max

Fun fact: At minute 19:28 an image of two anime characters appears that are a reference to another anime and in that anime the Bocchi gang appeared in a chapter in the background before for Bocchi's own anime to premiere

Lawrence

Really like it if you picked up Symphogear. VIvi is good, but Symphogear is really a phenomena with animation and music that starts out good but just gets better and better every single season. .

Lawrence

Probably the most famous Eliza is the fictional character Eliza Doolittle from the George Bernard Shaw classic plays Pygmalion and My Fair Lady (herself based on Eliza Sheffield, an English barmaid). The name's not common these days in the UK, but was fairly common in the 1700s and 1800s.
