The girl in the middle is the boobs armor girl that Rudy fought the first time he reunited with Paul. The girl beside her was also with them at that time. Roxy is making that face because she has as you know the Sperd trauma💦 I think you already realized from the handshake who Paul was referring to so it makes sense…😅 The girl on the right is Ginger (Zanoba’s bodyguard). They met her when they saved Aisha and Lilia from Zanoba’s pervert brother. 💦

The girl in the group shot on the far left is the sister of the bikini girl next to her. She was there that same episode. It's a skipped bit in the show, but in the books it talks about their story more and the reason the bikini girl dressed like that was she was trying to take attention off her sister because her sister had been sexually assaulted. It's kind of funny/tragic that it actually seems to be an increadibly effective strategy because almost no one notices the sister in the show. As for the girl on the right, that's Ginger. She was one of the guards who betrayed that gross prince in season one who trapped Rudy in a hole to try and lure back Roxy.

They got a lead that the mother is on the Begaritt continent, specifically, in the labyrinth city of Rapan per what Kishirika told Roxy. As of the note, they were in a port city about to depart for the continent. At 5:14, the girl on the far left was the mage girl that Rudy fought right before his reunion with Paul. The girl to the right of her is the girl who was wearing the barbarian bikini armor at that time. This isn't really spoilers since it was already covered by this point in the books, but the house's previous owner was probably one of the most famous magic tool inventors. When they were doing renovations, they found the guy's crest on items in the house, such as the fireplace, and put two and two together. Also, think of magic tools like items that can be used to produce magic-like effects without the owner having to utilize mana. They have an internal mana source that recharges slowly over time. An example was an object that was essentially a zippo lighter.

2:39 The woman in the middle is the one who used to wear the chain-mail bikini armor. The point of that was to distract men from looking at her sister (far-left) who is traumatized by being gang raped. The sister remains afraid of all men. 11:07 There's a noticeable improvement in the animation compared to some episodes in the first half of this season. 13:04 She's not ill from a disease. She's having reaction. It's what happens after a violent angry fit. I've had the same thing happen to me. You go from RAGE RAGE RAGE to collapse and stay in bed for hours and hours. not even moving. She doesn't have a illness that demands a trip home except homesickness. I don't see a reason why healing magic (for physical injuries or ailments) wouldn't work on her. 25:44 "Why was that dude with her (Nanahoshi)? Orsted was heading to the area with the mana disturbance (as you saw in 1x08). When he got there, he eventually found Nanahoshi. He must have taken pity on her AND been curious about her being from another world. Also, he must have though she was connected with the disaster. He couldn't talk to her so he must have taught her a local language. And you can fill in the rest. Roxy was making a face because she was looking directly at a superd, Even if ruijerd is friendly she is still TERRIFIED by the superd since it was taught to her from a very young age that they are scary. Also without much context one Isekai they do go back is inuyasha but its apart of the plot its not some grand scheme. Also you could technically count alice in wonderland XD

Some LN Extra Details (Volume 10 Chapter 9-11) provided by RizalBoon on Muse Asia - She mastered the basics of Disturb magic in short time and Rudy was jealous that it was not the same for him on Advanced healing magic. - Sylphie currently is Intermediate in Fire and Advanced in Water, Earth, Wind, Healing and Detoxification magic - Rudy is noticing on Sylphie's hair has grown out more since her time with extremely short hair. - Sylphie is a lot more straight forward and clingy when drunk during the celebration - Nanahoshi is singing anime song while stroking Linia's ear. Badigadi commented that was quite a bizzare song, but joins along regardless. - The ED of this episode is actually a real song "Tsubasa by Under Graph" sang by Nanahoshi in karaoke style during their celebration - Total of three months have passed when Rudy's sister arrived since previous episode. Differences from LN - Chapter 8 slice of life chapter is skipped - Rudeus actually caused Sylphie to cut herself and bleed when surprising her in the kitchen - The scene where Sylphie was asking about teaching her Disturb magic are from chapter 8 and was rearranged here - The scene Rudy lifting Julie is after they moved Nanahoshi to his house and more like lifting a baby - The Sylphie giving Nanahoshi's knife to Rudy is not in LN - Elinalise is not with them when they are doing the magic circle research in Nanahoshi's room.

There have been Isekai where people have gone home, multiple in fact. Most of the modern ones aren't because most modern Isekai are about the MC escaping from his previous world into a more ideal one. One anime where the whole premise (It's not a spoiler it happens in episode 1.) is about a person being Isekai'd then returning home, is Uncle From Another World.

No he wasn't who told you it was 3 years? 3 years is never implied he only been there for a year. He came to ranao academy school at the age of 15 he met sylphie there a year later they get togehter and he lost his ed. He had his ED before 15 he met sara when he was 13 not soon after eris left him. He then spend a year there becoming 14 thats he ends up trying to do the deed there with Sara finds out he has ED they go through their abrupt thing he leaves travels around for a year meets elinalise then he goes to ranao academy.

As I said, anime doesn't help you keep track of time. People think that Rudy is still 15 or 16 😂. It doesn't help that he's supposed to be a head taller than Sylphie by now. But for some reason he's the same height

The episode begins with a letter from Paul explaining that they're going to rescue the mother, Zenith, on the Begaritto continent and that since it's extremely dangerous, he's sending the sisters to Rudy's house to care of them. And just a few seconds later Luke: "Why isn't the mother here?"...lol typical Luke. Sometimes incredibly perceptive, and sometimes can't remember information he's just been given. We love you Luke ! ^^ Btw, the ending song is sung by Nanahoshi (who likes to sing songs from her world), and the lyrics make particular sense of her situation. Once again, a very well-written episode that tackles a lot of very human things. We can feel her desperation to return home, her depression...which Rudy understands all too well, remembering his suicide attempt when he sees Nanahoshi's knife that Sylphie hands him. But also Rudy's benevolence and the importance of moments shared with friends.

You should rewatch the special ED with Nanahoshi singing in the next episode. Also I recommend watching Aninews videos on cut content from Mushoku Tensei. He has a playlist about them on his channel. Helps to understand some plot beats better for anime-onlys.

you were asking why Orsted was with Nanahoshi, well it simple we saw him notice the disaster that summoned her as it was about to happen. When it did happen he would have found this girl in the middle of all of this now vast emptiness, He would have taken an interest because likely Rudy she from another world and there for unaffected by his curse that makes all living things hate and fear him. As for why he'd help her at all, *shrug* maybe the guy was lonely.

When Rudeus says she's ill, he means mentally ill, because she took emotional damage from being stuck in a hostile world (maybe forever in her mind) that she hates. I know you forgot a lot of things because you haven't watch it for a long time, and you're not like me or other people here who have watched the episodes again throught anime reaction channels.

As far as I am aware the original Isekai "Alice in Wonderland" set the trend that the goal is to return to you previous world. (Peter Pan can be considered in both categories as the Darling Family returns home but Peter goes back to Neverland.) From what I understand this trend continues through most isekai stories including shows like Digimon. The Mushoku Tensei LN when it came out was one of the few to break this trend in favour of staying. It and a few others (I believe re:zero is another one) that inspired the more modern Isekai escapism trope.

Even though Rudy says he doesn't was a concubine and only wants Sylphie.... I'm still very concerned that when / if the other love interests reappear, he's going to pull a Paul and end up sleeping with them. It's just going to take someone like Eris reappearing and Rudy seeing her naked or nearly naked and I feel like he's going to pull a Paul and just act on his lust. I hope he doesn't, Sylphie doesn't deserve that, but with how Rudy is I could see it happening.

His motherZenith is not there for the reason Paul said in the letter: they've located her, but she's in a dangerous place, and this party is being formed to rescue her. The other two women are the adventurers Paul had with him as part of his party when Rudy met up with Paul and got into a fight with him. (Remember, he accused Paul of messing about with other women during their fight).

At 13:00, Nanahoshi is sick, but thats not the only reason for why she lost it and had to be taken to the school clinic. She is very depressed, the look in her eyes when she is on the floor is sad.

There was a time, 15-20ish years ago, when "find a way back home" was the expected end goal of *nearly every* isekai. That was the centerpiece of the story: being trapped/lost in another world and the journey of finding a way home. The closest we get to that these days is the "death game" thriller subgenre.

Tbh I didn’t notice the old friend while reading Paul’s letter:)) I too think Nanahoshi’s VA voice is unique if there is no filter on it and you noticed that FMA scene was weird before it happened 😄. So the maid’s daughter is smarter than Zenith’s one? Man the last 2 episodes made mushoku great again, I think in season 2 part 1 we had no turning point and the school part I think was clear weaker than the rest of the show

Remember that Silent's research is possible only because Rudy, the freak with near bottomless mana, is here to activate the mana circles. I don't really know if Rudy is the most powerful magic caster in that world (probably not), but he sure is the one with the most mana, that's his distinctive feature.
