I had to wait several days to watch this because I wanted to give it its proper due and watch the whole thing, which I finally did today, all 3:33 of it, and every minute was so well worth it. I cried nearly the whole way though. Taylor’s music will always find you when you needed it, and I’ve really really needed it. My ex decided to emotionally gut punch me the day after the album was released and I can’t tell how many times I’ve screamed the bridge of the smallest man who ever lived, and right now, it’s may 4th, and the first week of May because of a loss I suffered some years ago, but it always hurts so deeply that even when I don’t ever recognize the dates. When I do, it’s okay that makes sense why everything is so emotional and painful right now. But I needed this album, and these songs, to really cope, and so thank you Taylor, and thank you Luke for experiencing this with us.
