Oh Luke oh Luke u dont really do remember much :D i can imagine coments on youtube :D Demon lord Valentine is that cuta vampire lady over there and Veldora destroyed her cover during Walpirgis in last season just by the end of it so idk how you missed that :D but after all i would rather recomend watching actual recap episode of the show then looking up recaps on your own :)

Also Rimuru is not like Ainz in how he rules, Rimuru is very smart when it comes to politics and all of his moves are calculated, things going his way is not luck but skill.

Lukes memory is making me crazy sometimes. Luminus is the beauty Vampire Demon Lord at walpurgis, she was angry with Veldora because he forgot her name. She is also the (false) goddess of Luminism, the religion who was mentioned several times in the series. And season 2 was also very political, there were literally 4 or 5 episodes in a row without much action and fighting, where they just talking about political things. Ans please don't take my comment so seriously, I know it's hard to remember things in a show you've only watched once :)

In my opinion, Slime has had that same "more serious" vibe since the otherworlders attacked Tempest and Shion died. Shit got real HARD in that sequence, and the show has felt a lot more like they're playing for keeps after that blindside attack. So I don't think its a season 3 thing specifically, but when you compare against the relatively idyllic starts to season 1 and 2 (outside his murder in 'real' Japan) its definitely a striking contrast how much more tension is already present.

You might address this later on, but the vampire lady was the maid of the fake vampire demon lord. She's the actual demon lord and is the "god" of this world's religion Luminism. Also, by "flying bugs" she meant the angels.

To answer a few of your questions without spoilers. Luminous Valentine is the "goddess" of the Holy Empire Lubelius, which you learned this episode. She is the one who hates Veldora because he destroyed her city. She is a demon lord, the one that Veldora couldn't remember the name of. The "flying bugs" she was referring to were the angels she was talking about. And thus far, the only angel you have seen is the fallen angel Dino, also a demon lord. The one who was asleep a lot during Walpurgis.

The name is Diablo, not Lucifer… Also there are 7 primordial demons including him. They do not have a name but they are referred at by colors in French Rouge: Red Bleu: Blue Vert: Green Noir: Black Violet: same spelling Blanc: White Jaune: Yellow I won’t say who is who, but if you have watched until the movie then I would say that we have already been introduced to 5 of them. Also if you cannot remember Luminous or the last season events, you can either watch the last Season’s finale again or watch the recap Special Episode “Digression - Diablo’s Jornal” It tells also about the previous episode’s “Pudding Contract” between Diablo and Veldora lol Anyway, looking forward to your next reaction and episode😆

The reason season 3 seems so serious is because it starts after Walpurgis(demon lord meeting) and that was a very serious event.

Yeah, first guy should really be fired and also everything in this anime it is explained in a kindergarten manner, maybe we are not the target audience, but at least has some funny moments, interesting characters and good animation. It is one of the few anime where I forgot names, actions, for example Rimuru’s encounter with Hinata
