Girls’ Last Tour is a feel-good post-apocalyptic anime. It's a story about two girls with a Kettenkrad traveling through a huge, isolated, multi-layered city, with just the arbitrary goal of one day reaching the top floor, leaving both them and the viewers asking questions such as, “What caused the downfall of this city?”, “Are there other people still alive?”, “What is at the top layer?”, “Are there other cities out there?”, “What was the civilization like before the downfall?”, “When will the food run out?”, and most importantly, “What is cheese?”. So, Girls Last Tour has a really good opening, BUT the ending is amazing and better one in my opinion, you should totally check it out, you can throw it in in another video with other openings. As for the anime itself, it's simply incredible... Your guess was pretty much right, it's an anime about two girls wandering dead world ruined by war. It sounds simple and maybe boring, but the execution is just amazing with a really unique atmosphere, if I had to describe it, it's "Melancholically wholesome". I recommend you to watch it as I don't think you have yet to seen any pure Slice of Life anime, everything else you watched in this genre, was also a Romance or Comedy.

Idk who told you Saiki K. was cheeky lol. It's a hilarious comedy Anime about the disastrous life of an insanely powerful psychic who just wants to live a regular life. The cheeky part in the op is because that guy there is a pervy character. It's actually really funny, you should watch it.

Last one is comedy, 3 min per episode. Its PG 13. You've been fed wrong info. The only cheeky thing is it contains mature jokes which kids wouldn't get it but someone 13-14 could understand 100%.

Yes, the VA's sing the openings and endings for Girls Last Tour. It is a show about two girls traveling around a post apocalyptic world. It is very philosophical and chill, yet also can be very dark. Also why do you keep doing this to us? You never do the endings to any of the shows you react to anymore. Girls Last Tour won a twitch vote, and yet you still skipped the endings. There is such a long list of anime that you have skipped the endings to that its really disheartening to see you keep skipping them for every new show you react to. For most shows its their one shot to get recognition and be seen, and they will never get voted for again. I am begging you, please come back and do the endings.

The endings are both better and more popular than the opening, although the opening is pretty fun as well. Girls Last Tour is for me the best pure slice of life anime ever made. Like you said, a lot of other slice of life have at least one other genre mixed in, but this is the purest distillation of what the genre is. It really is an incredible anime and the manga is really good as well.

I feel like the understanding is generally that for shorter shows that the endings get included if possible. Lots of people were specifically asking for it and he acknowledged it. If it was just once or twice I wouldn't have said anything, but its happening basically every time now. He has literally said before that he would start to include the endings with the opening reactions, so I don't think its unreasonable to go by his own words. I may have gotten a little carried away, but I was really looking forward to this reaction, so it was a pretty big let down.

What's wrong with wanting him to react to the endings as well when he reacts to the openings for an anime? It's far from the only time he's skipped it, twitch voted or not, and exactly because EDs don't get many views on their own, it would make sense to do the endings together with the openings.

My point is I still do not take the words at face value when the category is called opening vote(OP only) and not anime vote (op+ed). Plus if he doesn't add "ED" in txt file, he 100% forgets, we see him in twitch write stuff, if he didn't write but said, he will 100% forget. He forgot in HxH that the fortune teller told ahead an attack will be there, In just 20 minutes, he FORGOT, one of the main important pieces of information, and people expect him remembering: "ah yes I will do ED" XD I believe it's a 'views' choices. I have seen people asking for specific endings get 100 plus likes on youtube and still not get an endings reaction so I don't think its just a matter of enough people asking for it. Also, its weird that he says the endings reactions do poorly when they get the same amount of views as most of his opening reactions. Sure, there hasn't been a blow out 100k plus views on an endings reaction like a few of his opening ones, but on average I think they do decently. I suspect if he did them more often he would get one that blows up eventually. Its all about the right show and the right timing.

@_TKD_, Well, it's an anti-hero move from me in that comment. On one hand it attract attention that there's a bunch of people who want ED reaction, but at the same time underline that they expected for OP+ED when the section on twitch is called: opening vote and not 'anime vote'. Basically when you take 1 finger, but the other person 80% of the time gives you 2 fingers. And because you get used to 2 fingers, when the transaction always is: 1 finger, you end up asking for 2 fingers when you get 1 finger. So... is it wrong to ask for 2 fingers? not really... I just never expect a bonus even if he most of the times offers it. If there are enough comments that attract attention (including mine), Luke will probably add ED in a video in the future. The reason why I didn't write a nice comment is because I do not like when people expect a 'bonus' included by default, even if luke promises it will add it in there. When I add his forgetfulness + if he doesn't write it down he is bound to forget. Does my comment do more bad than good? No, it attract attention and help those people, but I just cannot help them without telling them at the same time, to stop expecting 'bonus' cuz it's luke who decide if he add ED as well (+ less disappointment for the viewer if they expect only opening, and if they get ed, then is a surprise/bonus) PS: same apply when people vote for an ED from a show instead of the OP, if I voted for ED, I don't expect the OP cuz I voted for ED (vice versa for OP, I voted for OP I don't expect ED so I don't ask for ED). The only time I 'ask' for extra is in comments like on youtube and upvote comments for stuff that I want him to react. But I don't use twitch z.z to get both never. It's nice to get both which is why I attracted attention, for those who want.

Definitely make sure to react to the ED of Gushing over Magical girls as well, since it's just so catchy and honestly quite wholesome considering the type of anime it is. The ED is also actually is by the VAs, which the OP isn't.

Gushing over Magical Girls is a certain kind of hilarious for sure but it rides the line for H anime for sure. It's probably the second "cheekiest" good anime I've ever seen right behind Interspecies Reviewers. Fantastic VA on the main character btw, she absolutely carries the show

As it turns out, after checking his old videos, he actually does have a bunch of endings exclusive videos that did incredibly well. Chainsaw Man has 167K views, Overlord has 220k views, Re:Zero 73k, Hunter X Hunter 79k, and that is just a few. He even did a "best anime endings" video that has 74k views which is far higher than the average openings reaction.

Watched all episodes of tokyo revengers... i hated it :D the idea is good but execution is horrible. Why they are 14... driving motorcycles and killing people, make them 5 years older.... and it would not take me out of the story so much.

I'm not sure I fully understand what you were trying to say with your moon fact, but the orbital period of the moon is nearly identical to the rotational period. So for the most part everyone sees the same moon surface.

The reason why people don't recommend tokyo revenger is because the way the manga end was VERY BAD. Before the manga was finished, it was actually popular and lots of people were excited for the anime release. They should have just ended the series when they accomplished the initial goal instead of dragging it out

I'd love to see his react to at least the first episode of gushing over magical girls. I doubt he would watch the full season but would still be worth at least 1 episode. The shows super funny but my lord is it horny/ecchi to much so for most people. I've been having a great time with it though.

Would you enjoy Tokyo Revengers? Yes. Should you record your reaction to it? The anime was really hyped when it was realesed but they tried to extend the manga more than they should have and gave it a terrible ending. That's why the anime decayed in popularity at the point that 99% of content creators would't even bother to talk about it. People were just not interested.

I don't think Saiki no kusuo (the disastrous life of saiki) is really cheeky but honestly even after more than 500 anime i think this is the funniest anime to watch beside gintama i don't know why it's not that popular beacause you should definitly watch it it's like a big parody of the anime genre in general

They don't actually seem to do that poorly though? If you look at the view counts on his videos there are a number of opening videos that do poorly and a number of ending videos that do great. And on average the views seem relatively similar.

I don't know if that specifically was an example, but sometimes, they have the voices of the characters sing the opening song. One example that comes to mind is the fourth Japanese opening of Pokemon Journeys, where it's sung by Ash's voice actor and the voice actor of his companion Goh.

Usually anime openings and endings are produced by established music groups or singers (like YOASOBI), however there are some that are sung by the voice actors of characters, which is often something that happens in ecchi shows.

Well, in this case he was correct. The VA's of the the main characters do in fact sing the opening to Girls Last Tour. The endings too, although he didn't react to them. It's interesting that he picked up on that so quickly. I think that a lot of songs that are sung by the VA's have certain stylistic similarities that he subconsciously identifies.

When you take waxing and waning phases of the moon out of the equation, a full moon looks the same pretty much anywhere on Earth. Girls last tour will forever hold a special place in my very core, both the anime as well as the manga. As for what it is about, its an story about the most unhappy scenario in the world, and two girls making the best of a bad situation and finding the little things to keep going.

Yeah Gushing over magical girls is a lot like Interspecies Reviewers. It basically dances along the line between anime and hentai. But like interspecies reviewers, it’s actually really well put together and is an enjoyable watch and the characters are all fun. Particularly the second half the season has been a blast. Girls last tour is a really special anime. You nailed it with the wandering around in a post-apocalyptic world. The two main characters don’t know much about the world and neither do we. And it’s just about exploring and learning at the same time, with some light philosophical themes. It’s very unique and absolute worth watching in the future.

The main problem with Tokyo Revengers is that it's a pain to watch in legitimate places. The first season was on Crunchyroll and then the streaming rights for later seasons got bought by Disney+ which didn't offer their services in many places in the world. Combine that with their fairly minimal offering of anime it's not a place many people go. Some fantastic shows have just gone under the radar because they were only available there.

Still hoping you check out some donghua (chinese animation) openings. Really recommend Da wang Rao Ming (Spare me great lord), its an awesome opening. Next Wu shan Wu xing (Fog hill of five elements), its beautiful. Also think you would like Lookism, which is done by Ateez.

Yeah except for few shows like Demon Slayer or Makoto Shinkai movies, the anime producers do not care much for international audiences. After all most of their revenue comes from the sale of source material and merch within Japan. This is why I dont care about legitimate sources. One can buy the manga / novels to support the producers which might actually result in the studio also getting to work on another season.

Saiki K may be the funniest anime I have ever had the pleasure of watching. The subtitles go by very very fast because of the rapid fire humour so I'm not sure if watching it subbed would work for you ( no offense ) but you should definitely watch it some day.
