The cyber and gloomy atmosphere of the restaurant is filled with drone music played by modular synths and vintage synthesizers.

The restaurant is called "Denki Soba(電氣蕎麦)" in Osaka.

"Denki" means electricity, and soba is a traditional Japanese noodle made from buckwheat flour.

Sometimes there are concerts with modular synths.

When I visited, there was a live performance of noise music.

Just like in the U.S., avant-garde music tends to be favored in the western regions of Japan.

I hope I can visit there next time I'm in Osaka!

Added it to my list of places to visit next time I find myself in Japan - however Google Maps reports it as permanently closed :( (https://goo.gl/maps/8M1J5Cvzq6nkEaXZ9) I wonder if this is correct.
