Ah, so you've been interested in the Korean entertainment industry for 10 years already? Quite interesting considering it wasn't as widely known internationally back then compared to now. Don't know for you guys but the first time I heard about Korea in a context other than North/South tensions or Samsung stuff was with the "Gangnam Style" clip

Yeah that's what really boosted Korea's popularity. They actually showed a lot of kpop videos on Bulgarian music channels and we would eat it up cause back in the day they made them super kitsch. Bright colours, chains, spikes and sparkly clothing. It was so different and cool at the time hahaha

Btw Teddy, in your opinion how well informed does the author sound to you from what’s been discussed about the idol industry in this anime?

Very well informed! It's almost like they experienced it themselves 👀 there's an even deeper layer I wonder if we're going to touch on with the music idols specifically but we'll see. I don't know if they'll bring it up. I really hope they do so I can talk about that too 😂 it's about "sponsors" in the industry but I won't say too much
