Salutations! Here’s what we’re doing and what we already did.

In a nutshell - I spent last week writing, so there's not enough new information for "progress report" post, Moana is fighting (and winning) against our bugs, and I’m drawing new content. So I’m uploading this "masterpost", with all the features Defenestration will have (everything I've talked about during this rework). In a way, this is also a changelog for v0.4.5, since all our features are coded in.

On the “new you” quest - so far there's been only one "branch" with Katya or Kira being tied to the pole. This "new you" quest ended up with two more "branches", I've been thinking a lot on this topic. I don't want you to miss any events (unless you'll choose to), on the other hand, I want your choices to have consequences. I believe I've managed to do that in this quest, but I'll know for sure only after your feedback.

After the New You we will begin working on the farm content:

Farm - is a new quest chain that starts at the “Sanctuary” (rebellions base/sewer), I’ll do my spin on this genre, but it’s basically what you think it is. Farm unlocks lactation, pregnancy, breeding, etc. Probably in this order. Everything will be optional and avoidable, this quest chain is supposed to be long and it is a part of the main story, and it will most definitely have a “bad end” at the end (based on your choices), so it also needs main story advancement to function properly. Initial events won’t be as “hard core” since I need some time to set this up, so don’t expect permanent lactation or pregnancy right of the bet.

Farm content will be added in October and this will be a “two update quest”, we’ll create as many events as we can for it. But two events are a guarantee (our usual number of events per month before the rework). With farm we’ll also start implementing pregnancy and lactation systems, and we already have variables and art for them, so your saves won't break because of it.

Every scene will be completely avoidable and, except for one option (milking machine) every other event will have “no pregnancy” and/or “no lactation” options (based on your choices). By default Kira can’t get pregnant or lactate, but you’ll have an option to “turn it on” at the farm. So you will completely control what happens to her. I want to take into account all tastes and preferences.

I wanted to do two separate polls for a second event, without the winner of the first poll. But then I realized that I was milking this topic for polls, so I’m going to work on two most voted events instead. All of the events will be in the game, and I will ask you some other questions in polls instead.

That said, here’s a current list for farm events:

Event one - Kira will be in a breeding rack; - Won

Event two - Kira will be in a milking machine;

Event three - Lesbian event;

Event four - (Pet play) Kira will be treated like a bitch/cow;

Event five - Farm themed hypnosis event. - Won

We’ll attempt to make all of them repeatable, and again, everything will be avoidable.

Events above will check and reference Kira’s hypnosis levels. Which means that if she’s into public use or pet play, they will have some different text. Except for farm hypnosis, this one will create new fetishes instead (based on your choices).

All of the events above will make it into the game eventually, but we needed to choose which events to add in first.

In v0.4.5 we’ve implemented our character art system and the groundwork for every other system, in this post I’ll attempt to explain what we’re trying to achieve here.

I’ve listed some events and some content that Defenestration will have, this roadmap is open-date because content polls will decide the order. That said, we will do everything in our power to stick to it and finish “Farm” by the end of Autumn.

As you can see, I’ve decided to put two of our major systems into the “residential area / res area”, that’s because I need at least two weeks to finish the art for them, and to properly use them we need more random events. So, we’ll finish doing them with residential area content, right now we have more important things to work on.

The only system that we have not implemented yet is - “Romance”, this one will use art from every existing event with different partner and randomized text/fetishes (new code and “layered” art allows us to do this kind of stuff). For us to start working on this, we simply need the game to be bigger - have more H-events, drawn characters, locations, etc.

The best thing about all our systems is that we only need to do this once, we’ve decided to do all of that at once because it would be impossible for us to redo the whole game later on, it’s already too big for us. Even though the initial plan was to just add “dumb” text and some new physical transformation, this thing just kept on growing. Thankfully, apart from “layering the art in events” stage (which will be completed this Autumn) - we’re done with this monstrosity.

The game kind of works like a “spider's web”, most of the events are accessible in any order and they affect one another, even if it’s just a line of text. With the new fetish system and dialogues tied to stats (including fame), you will be able to see Kira’s current state of mind in any given situation. I think this way the game will feel more consistent, more entertaining and it will have more replay value. Not to mention that I won't have to rewrite older dialogues with every new major “mental (hypnosis, drugs, alcohol, etc.)” event, well, at least not as often as right now.

Here’s how it will work, Intelligence will determine what Kira will say, there will always be two lines of text for her existing at the same time. Above zero - she’ll speak normally, below - well, here’s an example:

Intelligence is responsible for her overall speech, while Lust will be responsible for her “H-events”. It will be possible to play a smart and slutty Kira as well as dumb and modest one (she’s not really modest, just able to refuse). In addition to that those stats will continue to serve their usual purpose, which is - more dialogue choices.

Defenestration also has hypnosis, and new event at the new you will set your lust at 50 and (optionally) your intelligence at -50, so in a way it is a “shortcut” to Bimbo/Slut fetishes. Hypnosis will continue to exist and be referenced up until the game ends, on top of the Lust/Int stats.

Next thing on the topic of text, since we now have our whole physical and mental changes thing figured out, we no longer need to gate you from the content, so you will be able to go to "new you" right after Chief Officer’s sessions, etc. Some characters and quests will start referencing Kira’s mental state and fame and you will be able to see tunnel/subway events in any clothing.

There’s also this thing that we refer to as “Action references”, it’s blocks of code that check what you already did, you can see this thing in places where npcs react to Kira’s outfits, tattoos, breast size and etc. This thing needs more text, but once it will be ready - we will just tastefully “sprinkle” it all over the game (v0.4.5).

Hypnosis, which previously had two levels. We’ve recorded those two levels and from now on they will be called “fetishes”. It will be possible for Kira to have “Exhibitionism”, “No underwear”, “Pet”, “Public use” ,“Slut/Bimbo” fetishes and etc. They are all in the game already, but moving forward we will utilize them a bit differently.

For instance, because “Prison” and “New You” are no longer linked, it will be possible for her to enter prison shower with “Public use (Benevolence training)” fetish, which will change the dialogue a bit, and will work as a separate entity from both her “Int” and “Lust” stats.

Hypnosis instantly unlocks fetishes, and eventually it will be possible for her to acquire them “naturally”. We also want to show them to the player, as a game feature.

Squatboy. This wasn’t at the top of our “to do” list, but it was also necessary. We don’t want to break your save files again, so we need to think of every variable we might need in the future. Every event and its outcome will be remembered and you’ll be able to see Kira’s statistic.

We’ve created some art to the “squatboy” to make it more interesting, plus some new features. You can call it by pressing a button, instead of scrolling through the menu - (“ ~ “) button, as of v0.4.5.

This page will also grow in time, and I might change the names of the fetishes. It’s basically how hypnosis works in the game now. Once again, you’ll be able to get fetishes from New You, or “naturally” (not yet possible, we need more events (v0.4.5).

There will also be more detailed version of “Stats” page, that will show sexual statistic, and in time we will add more categories to it.

Last but not least, we’ve added hints to the squatboy, hopefully they will help new and returning players - already in game (v0.4.5).

Not yet implemented. The code for this new interface is in, by which I mean that the game remembers everything you do and will be able to “show” it on the screen. To add this thing in - we need more time, so this feature is on hold until we'll return to the “interface” part of the game. (v0.4.5).

Right now, there’s 3190 pictures of Kira’s character art (v0.4.5). A lot of it is just a “placeholder” written across the screen, you won’t see it in the game, but it will be in the game files. This will allow us to develop the game without breaking your save files.

We’ve thought about and tested every possibility to create this system. I’ve drawn some stuff “in advance” and for the sake of the testing. Every aspect of Kira’s character art is deliberately drawn a certain way, from a certain angle and placed on a certain layer, just so you can do whatever you want in the game. Hairstyles, lips, tattoos, outfits, piercings, body writings, fluids (cum, milk), sextoys, underwear, lip color, expressions, hand placement, breast sizes, hip sizes, pregnancy - everything we could think of is now in the game. And once you’ll start it - the game will assign to you necessary variables and will call necessary pictures when needed.

Once again, everything will be optional and here’s a list of every physical change Kira will be able to undergo (this number was chosen in Spring 2019 patreon polls):

Breast sizes: There will be 10 breast sizes, including the Fake one. Every second breast size is shown in events.

Hip sizes: There will be three hip sizes for Character art, only the first hip size is shown in events.

Hands: They are on a separate layer now, which gives us more room to pose Kira. A good example of that is new “self groping” art, which exists for every breast size.

Hair: 10 hairstyles, three are already in the game. We’ll vote together for future ones when the time will come.

Lips: Two lips enlargement.

Expressions: At least 11. Unlike other features, they don’t need to be limited.

Sex toys: There will be three options for her character art, and some “event-specific” options.

Cum: Three options.

Milk: One option for every breast size.

Body writings (words): Three optional writings, will remain on Kira’s body after some events, removable by showering.

Piercings: 8 options in total; Face - 1 option; Nipples - 1 option; Septum - 1 option; Vaginal - 2 options; Earrings- 3 options.

Tattoos: 22 options (two are already in the game); Face, Chest, Hand, Back, Legs (backside) - 2 options;

Lower body (front), Tramp stamp, Ass - 4 options

Pregnancy: One option, by default Kira can’t get knocked up.

Kira from the back has the same layers and supports everything. (not yet in the game, lacks artwork (v0.4.5))

Outfits, they will now have some purpose, apart from just looking rad. The percentage of random comments and events on the street will be determined by how revealing you’ll dress. - this feature is coded in, but it needs more text (v0.4.5).

All outfits will have two interchangeable states - slutty and normal. On top of that, outfits will have additional two “shadow” states - gropings and “backside”, both of them will be used in some events.

Events work by the exact same system, some of them use her character art and will show everything (not just every second breast size). This new system allows us to use existing art whenever we want, so we’ll be able to spawn as many random events as we’d like.

Unfortunately, this part is not yet implemented, it needs more pictures (v0.4.5).

However, the code for it and placeholder art is already in the game, meaning that once I’ll finish drawing every outfit - we’ll just need to replace ingame files and we won’t have to break your savefiles.

Her character art will be used in some groping and exhibitionism events. We will also use it to undress Kira before some events, which means that you’ll be able to play the game in any outfit, unlike how it was (Legion event used “Skirt and Shirt”, Subway used “Casual Outfit”, etc.)

The tunnel event and Vasilisa “mall” encounters both use this groping system. It’s basically a different set of breast, piercings, tattoos, fluids, toys and outfits with either female, male or Kira’s own hands. This means that as of right now “ideally” each and every outfit should be drawn four times - normal, revealing, gropings and from the back. In the future we plan to add more poses and variations to this system.

Because our game is now coded the right way and the art is layered, we can combine events more easily. Previously I would have to create separate pictures for something like this, which would unnecessarily increase the size of the game, and would be simply put “not worth it”. However, with this rework we will be able to just “call” Kira’s and Katya’s pictures and merge them together.

This picture is deliberately “not” complete, Kira is a bit less “thicc” in this event and both of them have bondage (like they previously did).

The prison was separated from “new you”, they were previously tied together because we were struggling with layers in the first place. This opens up new doors for us.

The text will more or less remain the same, but this is what you will be able to see if Kira was Hypnotised at “New You”.

Again, we now have layers, so I can do pretty much anything with Kira’s art, her internal dialogues will have their own art, and ‘Red Kira” got some art as well (If you’ll choose to beat the inmates).

In conclusion, in v0.4.5 we’ve added all our systems, character art and text. All that’s left is for us to transfer events to it and that’s it - we will have more options, our work should become easier, and you will be able to play the game however you want, more options for everyone!

Moving forward we will use our new systems and the game will have more quests and content with each update, starting this month.

I will upload another progress report probably by the end of this week, with the list of H-events "New You" quest will have.

The fact that at Low Int Kira calls beer, Bread Water is weird to me. How many people even know that? It makes her seem smarter, not dumber. You know, smarter in a really dumb way.
