Few words about bugs. (Patreon)

Greetings! In this post I’m trying to explain how our game-testing works. I wanted to write a simple response to a comment, but it turned out this big. 

Big thank you to everyone who’s offered me their help with beta-testing. Unfortunately, with the way things are at the moment, it is impossible for me to accept your help. Here’s why:

At the end of our dev cycle Moana turns on the game and runs through it, searching for bugs and fixing them at the same time. Since a lot of them are game breaking, even I can’t help that much during this period. It’s best done on one pc, because a lot of them make it impossible to play the game and require immediate fixing. Not to mention that our fixes usually create more bugs. 

Ideally, after Moana is more or less done with that, I would then send the game to testers, but this would mean that the rest of you would need to wait longer for a couple of days. So, the way I see it, until our “bugfix” version (which usually has letter “a” attached to it) is out - everyone is a beta-tester. Thank you all for finding bugs, reporting them and playing our game in general!
