Oh man, look what I found nestled in a long forgotten folder?
Way, way, way back in the day, in 2011 when I was 28, I was approached by Sarah Moon to be a part of her anthology, The Letter Q: Queer Writers Notes to Their Younger Selves. (Available on Powells & Amazon)
Haha, looking at this as an aged, world-weary 34-year-old*, I gotta confess I feel a little... I don't know.
God, I was so earnest.
I feel kinda embarrassed?
Like, this is still me, I still feel this in a way. But with more burnt out nerve endings, more calloused skin, more scar tissue.
I wonder how I would do this comic today...

*Now I am posting it here as an even wearier 39 year old.

Some years ago I actually spotted somebody reading this book on the bus. The immediate urge to go be like "HAI I'M IN THAT BOOK TOO!!!!!" is a strong one, but I successfully wrestled it to the ground and then dicked around on my phone instead, as God intended.
