It's the end of the week and I actually managed to put this together. Woo!

Just a quick note, I realize the names on the ranks are teeny-tiny. That wasn't deliberate when I made the files, but I figure it's not too much of an issue either, since the focus of this thing is more on the uniforms and their function, not the rank structure itself - however I have put some thought and work into that aswell for a potential second installment in the future.

On that note, you're welcome to ask any questions you might have and I'm going to try and work those into said future installments if they happen, though do heed Neia's disclaimer ;3

Also, just so there's no confusion, Neia is not Samia or a relative of hers. They just happen to have very similar fur patterns, but they are separate people (though they do work on the same ship :b)

Aside from that, the vote for comic progression has another couple' hours to go, so if you haven't cast your vote yet, mosey on over there (though tbf I think we very probably have a winner at this point).

I'll be back with results and more tomorrow :3

That is very interesting. Thank you, Thanaku Usekea. Did I use that right? I apologize if I didn't. Despite a not insignificant interest in strategy games I am not very familiar with military things so I don't have much to ask or comment. However, once thing that drew my attention was the reference to Personal Protective Enhancements. At first I thought it sounded odd that someone would be against those and figured it might be some sort of honor thing. But after reading again the terms "enhancements" and "integrated" makes it sound like this doesn't merely mean devices one would wear but more like implanted things. Am I correct in that? Also, is what you are wearing the bodyglove you mentioned? Oh, one other question I have, which regards civilians. Assuming there are civilians working within the structure of the Guard, are integrated into the hierarchy or kept apart from it? In any case, thank you for the explanations. I hope we will see you again soon :) Oh, and iPoke, very well done! Lots of interesting detail. And it's neat to see some more examples for Si'itian coloration and fur patterns.

That covers dress uniforms quite nicely. What about duty use/BDU types of uniforms?

Thank you ^^ I can't give a time frame just yet, but I can probably have Neia answer those questions somewhere down the line. She'll definitely come around again <3

That'll be a topic all unto itself. While there's not quite as much variation to showcase due to the nature of their type of warfare, I hope it should be interesting enough in it's own right :3
