Eyo, almost forgot this needs uploading here too :b

So here's another one of those pictures I really wanted to do, even though I suppose it's not quite as close to heart as some others that I've shown in the past, but I really, really wanted to revisit that Leopard, because she turned out so nice last year =w=

Anyway, it might seem deceptively simple, but this actually fought me for quite a bit. The proportions and the pose didn't want to come together at all and I think I messed around with the sketch for some two hours before committing to start on values.

There's still a couple' things off, or at least things that feel off, but probably aren't, like her head seeming rather big, but being proportionally correct (the sketch extends beyond the frame of the image), or her right leg extending/shortening towards the viewer. It could probably have done with a bit more emphasizing, however I do have to say her pattern does so much for driving the directional effect home X3

Anyway, I discussed in a conversation with Kal how I like my emotional and sexual artwork to have a bit of melancholy in it and I think the music that inspired both of the images in this picture emphasize that particularly well. I didn't feel this needed any accompanying text to it though, as "Friend" already sets the stage for the characters well enough.

I have a couple' more things to share soon. Just have to wrap up a thing or two :3

This is great work. Although it took me a couple of moments to realize that they are on a desk and not up against a wall :)

Even if this fought you on the way, you came out on top :) Same with our friend here I suppose. Love the back musculature, as I mentioned. Regarding the melancholy in the music that inspired these pieces, one of my favorite quotes is "Every love story is a ghost story", but it baffled me as to what that meant for the longest time. I just sounded like it must be profound. When it clicked for me, it helped me appreciate the depth these kinds of sexual pieces can have.

Another one of those things the picture could probably have done with - a little more clutter on the desk =w=

As usual, thank you very much for the praise ;3 You'll have to enlighten me, or at least elaborate on your thoughts on the matter of the ghost stories some time. I hadn't heard that quote before, but it does open some interesting avenues of thought.
