This week's topic; actual traditional sketches (mostly)

All of these were doodle concepts for something I would later want to produce digitally as paints for sale in the EF art show. These are from back before the 'rona and when it struck, I focused my efforts on other things that paid the bills at the time. Unfortunately I now lack both the time to finish these, as well as the funds to print them, even if I did, so they're going to be languishing in production limbo, but I can share these sketches at least, I figure :3

Starting out with a common topic throughout, one of my fire fennec girls, projecting a flame while she's dancing.

Another fen, this time just posing her plump little butt. Maybe an invitation. Maybe a challenge.

A dancing ale vixen heavily influenced by Armello's Scarlet. This one could serve as a sticker or pin as much as a painting, depending on how I might have rendered it eventually.

Same topic, just a different approach. I think this one might have done better as a paint and it'd also be closer to the rest of the images (whether ot not that similarity being nakedness is up to you 9w9)

Two weasels having a slinky snuggle, because if you're going to take a flexible mustelid as a base species, you might aswell exploit it to the fullest of it's potential X3

A bunny showing off her fluffy butt. The beginning phases of my developing a weakness for bun tush.

Another flame projecting fen, this time one that I did actually begin to work on digitally, as can be seen ...

... here. This is a good showcase image for how I generaly approach producing things from sketch to paint. You can still see the sketch lines I drew over the traditional, but they're a little more refined and help me maintain shape later on in the process. From here it's all adding layers and layers of values, and eventually texture, before tweaking final lighting :3

And finally, another sketch that went into semi-rendering at the time. These two were inspired by the slinky snuggles. Thematically, it's still in the same vein as the other fen images, even if they aren't themselves projecting the fire in the image right now. The interesting bit of challenge in this case would have been finding a good balance between light and counter light, with the main lightsource being behind the fens, instead of infront. Ah well, another time ~

For some reason the scheduling moved these posts to 16.06. , despite me having finished them yesterday, shortly before theirupload time ._. ah well, they're here now.

Anyway, that concludes this week's uploads.

Neat doodles. Love the Slinky Snuggles one :) The ale vixen is much appreciated too. Even though I don't like ale. And the fire fennecs are still nice to see too :)
