This weeks upload is old concept stuff for my sci-fi universe I've come to call the ARC Universe for a while now. While definitely heavily out of date in terms of my artistic ability, most of the designs themselves are still what they would be were I to start in on telling any kind of story there - which, believe it or not, I'm still hoping to do :b

Starting out with a picture that I did not upload to FA for Iforgetwhatreason, this one was actually doodled to one bit of theme music from the 007:The World Is Not Enough OST and showcases the most recent pattern of protective gear for humans (sol) in the setting. The quote I posted underneath the artstation upload was "Hey, I think I forgot to turn off the stove" - "Not the time, man!"

Second is an old doodle of a small scale armored transport, again for sol. Not much to say on it at this point, because this is one of the ones that probably wouldn't make the cut these days, unless I did some heavy reworking. This is mostly because my understanding of military engineering has improved a great deal since I drew this, but also because it looks just a little too close to a wheeled version of the Rhino transport Xb

An exploded diagram I wanted to draw of the more recent pattern of si'itian power armor. Never went anywhere, but the spirit of it is still present, despite missing a few of the updates I added somewhere along the lines since.

Speaking of which, the most visually imposing updates I mean are probably the engine exhausts on the legs and backpack, which got added for additional propulsion. Looking at this now, I am so very happy I got to enjoy the additional art education I did, because good GOD are there things wrong with this, but I digress XD

Next up, a second attempt at doing one of those cut away pictures of si'itian ships, this time with an updated and more comprehensive design, incorporating some of the criticisms I recieved back in the day, including many more bathrooms (which are not visible here). The most modern design of si'itian ship I created is basically a plug-and-play modular system of ship components that can be assembled and disassembled as needed, making tailoring ships towards specific roles a great deal easier than retrofitting old chassis' until they don't even resemble their old selves anymore X3

Next, a design for Sarigan station, an off-map trade hub for shady people, situated inside a hollowed out asteroid circling in a belt in a remote system somewhere in the galactic west. A short-lived world building RP between me and a friend took us there and it prompted me to think of the more irregular locations of the universe.

Last of the technical designs, a very rough doodle for a suit of armor for Rhaganin. Seeing as they lack true dexterity in their "paws", their weapons need to be mounted on their backs und underside respectively, which gives rise to some interesting solutions and opportunities. More on that somewhere down the line, perhaps ...

Now, one of the first actual design sketches for the Rhaganin. I'm glad my artistic ability has grown beyond this, but the overall shape of them has remained pretty much the same, so I guess this still serves it's purpose.

Two more creature designs, of the Gyahe and Ispians respectively, two species that do in their own way contribute to the larger affairs of the milky way galaxy in ARC. Gyahe are invertebrates and probably one of the more alien creatures I've designed throughout the years. Years later, I find that Themefinland's parasites have a very similar theme about them, though as I understand it, they actually build upon their host, but then I never looked too deep into their work X3

Next, a species line up for the (then) primary species' in ARC. There's been some additions that I haven't added, because if/when I do, I'll likely do a prettier version of this, but from left to right; Verian, Sol, Ispian, -redacted-, Si'itian, Gyahe, Rhaganin.

Final three images~

First, two service members having a good time somewhere in engineering X3 this one's, as many others, still from back in the day when I used OC for my stuff, but it turned out nice enough for something that never got finished. I suppose I could go back to it some day - another candidate for a vote.

Next, one of the side stories of ARC, two inter-agency liasons getting comfortable with eachother. Mind you, her face may say different, but that's because I had neglected my human drawing heavily at the time.

And finally, your avergae si'itian penis. Yaaaay~ a friend had an interest at the time, so I drew this diagram, much like the human penis reference I showed way back in the first upload of sketches iirc. Measurements in inches, other than that, it's pretty self-explanatory, I feel. It's dick. Not very complicated.

And that concludes this week's uploads. Hope you all enjoyed the material and I'll see you around again in two weeks, at which point I suspect I'll likely have new large sclae material to show again - I hope <w<

Stay safe! LYA~

I have always loved "Alien" type of creatures, there is always something fascinating in the unknown. Is that -Redacted- an SCP reference? Also, always loved si'itian so of course i say FINALLY si'itian peenor! What can i say, i'm a huge fan

Tygon Panthera

Wohooo! Sci-fi! I love all your sci-fi stuff :) I particularly like the exploded diagram, as well as the station. And man, that picture of the two si'itians having fun is REALLY good. The expression and the body language... great stuff!

ANTIcarrot

Rhaganins look cute. Always liked the ARC setting.

It isn't, since I haven't played, but as I understand it, SCP is omnipresent, so if you want to make the connection, go ahead ;b I'm glad you're so enthusiastic about si'itians, though I'm surprised you'd get such a kick out of seeing something you've received into yourself several times at this point :b

I'm really hoping to get back to sci-fi a little more regularly in the future, but for now I just have to coast along until I'm back in order X3 Glad the old stuff is appreciated aswell ^^ I figure this is probably what the patreon is about to a large degree

They are, sort of, I suppose X3 they did make one previous appearance in the April 20th upload which, while showing less overall, was visually nicer to look at. They'll make future appearances, I'm sure :3

One has to enjoy them wherr ever they are, hehe. Am also a huge fan of interspecies type of partners, it sort of touches on the forbidden or on the taboo, in regards to the inter-agency liasons
