And here we are once again with some background stuff for this week's upload :3

First up, something for Kalahari of his girls Petra and Juno. Had a lot of fun working on this one, especially for getting to shine a little light on one of Kal's underused characters (not that not all of them could do with more attention by him ;b (I know you'll be reading this Kal)). A lovely opportunity to draw some very feminine curves, along with some extra ones where Petra is concerned - Not that there's anything wrong with that. In fact, I have an appreciation for a very wide variety of body types, with the exception of whatever Ritts is up to X3

- Unclothed (originally public version) for comparison. I admit that I did make sure Petras clothing would be sufficiently loose that her chest didn't need adjusting between the variations.

Next, a lined commission. I'd never actually drawn a Charr before, though I'd had enough experience in drawing both feline and brutish characters to attempt this little excursion. Those of you who have been around a little longer know that human/anthro interactions are a huge thing for me, even if I rarely (get to) portray any of them in my own art - again, hopefully in future projects.

Image 4 was another story commission for draegwolf, of his character Rush in a moment somewhere along his progression axis. I don't know the specifics of that background, so questions should be directed at him. What I can say for myself though is that it's always nice to get to bring characters and their origins to life for people :3~

And, last of the big images, a little bonus that never made it public, or at least it didn't back in the day when I made it, as it might have revealed something to my Dark Heresy group, some of which watch me on FA. Not that the imaege doesn't reveal enough other things just by itself :b A Lady Of Change, who also happened to be the big bad in the campaign I ran. Mind you, she was only marginally more clothed in the encounter with the group, but it's not like her kind really needs clothing for any reason. Now I just need to find someone to model her for me so I can actually field her in a potential future Tzeentch army <_<;;

Righto. On to the not-so-big-department, these were all produced in tuesday night doodle sessions with my friends Caccia and Volpin (and my mate, though she doesn't doodle with us :3).

The first three images are all characters of Caccia's in various depictions and situations. We never talk about actual canon to these characters while we draw, only prompt eachother with characters of ours and then run with what we have to see what we can produce, which usually yields pretty good results.

I cannot for the life of me understand the appeal behind noodle whiskers, but there's enough characters with them out there for it to be a thing I guess. Fiesty puppet was also an interesting concept, though the image is probably not canon in any way, shape or form. I did have immense fun with the concept of the multi-mouthed hound character. Gotta love your eldritch horrors XD

The penultimate two images are both of Volpin's character roster. The first one is some form of demi-god creature observing a very surreal environment. As per usualy, please direct questions abuot the actual characters to their owners, but I was trying to go for some kind of otherworldly feel, with overgrown abandoned-s and reversed gravity, though without color, the upside down falling water just looks like white smoke :/ ah well

And lastly, just something I doodled shortly before the Christmas time. I like Christmas, but in recent years it's become a bit of a melancholic experience for me through various factors, and I think that's what I was trying to express with this particular piece. "... if only in my dreams." was a reference to the song I'll be home for Christmas by Bing Crosby (as the interpreter), though for some reason the song sounds different in my head than any recording I've found so far, and Chris Rea's Driving home for Christmas is also an obvious thematic influence. Can't really think of much else to say about it, unless you guys have specific questions X3

2023-02-06 09:06:01 Wonderful, wonderful pictures. Love the ones of Petra and Juno. Casual nudity is <3 And they look good clothed as well. Huh... Lady of Change. If you do get a model of that, I definitely want to see it :) I think you did well for the otherworldly feel. I really like that picture.

Muchas Gracias =w= Petra and Juno were definitely the ones I enjoyed working on the most in comparisson. Also came together the fastest, though that's more down to experience than anything else, since it's also fairly "young". I do like the idea of female characters in 40k. I want to do a Sisters of Slaughter Army some time in the future, but having bought myself a box of Repentia to attempt to convert into cultists has shown me some immense issues with the models that would take an inordinate amount of work to convert to what I want it to be =_= Either way, I wouldn't mind an eternity of servitude to my little birdy creation Xb
