10.2 H-Scene Poll (And Housekeeping) (Patreon)

Greetings! The first incremental release (10.1) is done, and now we're moving on to the second - 10.2. 10.2 will consist solely of an H-scene, and since I'm not 100% sure what to make it, I'm putting it up for a poll! The poll choices will be a little further down the page. First, though, a little bit of housekeeping.

10.1 Bugs

In order to accommodate gems and enchants, the plugins introduced in 10.1 changed a lot of things about how items, armor and weapons work under the hood. I didn't realize the scale of the changes until people started reporting bugs - and there are quite a few. I understand what's causing them and am in the process of fixing them, but it's going to take a few more days. Your saves will continue to work, and if they're screwed up now (you have duplicate items, etc) 10.1.1 should fix them. I've finished most of the work needed to convert your equipment to a more "10.1-friendly" format, but I still need to rewrite parts of the xmog and character view plugins to reflect the updated internals.

Here's a list of known bugs (please report them if you've experienced ones not on this list):

• Alex appears naked if you unequip/re-equip a piece of armor
• Alex appears naked if you use the equip menu's "optimize" command
• You end up with duplicate armor/weapons after unequipping them
• Enchantments cannot be removed from weapons
• Proper character images don't appear in the "status" menu
• You can't enter the nightclub because the bouncer says you're not wearing the right outfit

All these bugs are related to under the hood item changes. 10.1.1 will fix these (and a few other minor bugs/issues.)

The Next Few Releases

Release 10.1 implemented the arena, a new UI and some combat changes, 10.2 will be an H-scene, and 10.3 will focus on the reopening of the commercial district and some character-related scenes and quests. 10.4 will probably continue the character-related stuff. I might start working in some new ability quests for the main characters here, too.

Chapter 11 (i.e., the 10.X releases plus 11.0) will conclude with a dungeon run with Bloodfist, the raiding guild. This dungeon will probably be a big one, complete with its own mechanic, similar to The Dark Pits in size and complexity. Perhaps bigger. The full dungeon will probably span 3 or so incremental releases, and there will also be 1 - 2 more H-scenes in Chapter 11. Chapter 11 is going to be pretty long (for reasons I'll elaborate on in a future post,) but the chapters will get shorter for a while after it's done.

10.2 H-Scene Poll

Playing dress-up with Val, the scene idea that narrowly lost last time, will probably be the second chapter 11 scene, since it would make more sense after the commercial district is open. But here are the candidates for the first chapter 11 scene:

Futa Magic: Shiri screws up making a potion, and it ends up giving her a penis. Alex decides to help her with her problem (note: this will probably only involve oral.)

Party Favor: Alex wanders into the Playroom alone and gets tricked into being a group’s entertainment for the evening. (This is for you folks who wanted to see Alex with one or more guys.)

Making Up: Alex and Ana get into an argument and make up the sweaty way.

A Well-Appointed Room: Alex and Ana book another room at the Playroom, and this one has a lot of interesting equipment to use… (will have a dom and a sub variant.)

Role Reversal: Alex and Ana return to the Playroom, and Sami butts in yet again. This time, Sami finds it amusing to return both of them to their true forms… (note: may contain futa x male - Sami x Alex - though that won’t be the main focus of the scene.)

This poll will run for 9 days, and I'll start work after it's done. In the meantime I'll work on fixing bugs and doing some preliminary work for 10.3. Keep in mind that the results will be decided by adding votes from both sites, so the results you see here may not reflect the real state of the poll.

In future H-scene polls I may start weighting votes by tier (2x votes for $5 supporters, 3x for $10 supporters, etc.) but I didn't want to start doing that without giving some advance notice. Thank you for your support!
