I'm day 8 of my cycle, which puts me in the Follicular phase - Phase 2. If you don't know what that means, don't worry. I didn't either until about a month ago.

Although (most) women only bleed 1 week of of the month, we are in a continuous 4 week cycle. So that PMS we have all heard so much about... is our bodies rising, fluctuating and dropping in hormones preparing our bodies for a pregnancy that will most likely not happen. The female body is incredible!

On paper, phase 2 reads that my energy levels should be rising and I can expect a little bounce in my step. But instead my brain is absolutely scattered! I saw the doctor this this morning, it cost me $80 only to be told the thudding in my ear was simply my heartbeat. I then cancelled my call with my business coach that I pay $250 a week for. It's just not my day. 

But I know this won't last forever. My mental health just needs a little space today. A big hug and some Netflix in bed to ease the anxiety.

I know I've got this.
