Outbreak Timeline, Infected Occurrence (Patreon)

In the Growing Pandemic, there are 4 major outbreak events that lead to the Post-Pandemic era of the city of Whitespire, which is where most of the Canonical Story of the Growing Pandemic takes place. It only takes about 72 hours for the infection to overwhelm the city and move to its fringes.

Infected are also ranked not by effectiveness but when they appear, or commonness. Certain infected are more common than others, because they appear sooner, rather than later.

It is also worth noting, that despite all this, Null Infected still make up 85% of Infected. The remaining 15% are all other variants. In a city as densely populated as Whitespire, even a small-ish population of 500,000 infected, still means there are up to 75,000 specialist infected.
