Hello everyone we are back again with another genre poll for Movie Nigh #57! This week we are going to keep showing some love to our less popular genres. We hope you are all excited and we can't wait to see what you guys suggest!

WE WILL BE MAKING A MOVIE SUGGESTIONS POST SHORTLY AFTER THIS POLL ENDS, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM MAKING MOVIE SUGGESTIONS IN THE COMMENTS OF THIS POST

We have heard the feedback in some of the recent polls, and we wanted to know your opinions on a possible change. We were considering having the genre poll and suggestions as normal, but rather than taking the most liked comments and most requested movies for the poll, we (the Reel-Time guys) instead each choose a movie from the suggestions (regardless of how many likes or comments it gets) and add them to the poll for you all to vote on. Or we can keep doing things the way we have been doing them. Let us know in the comments what you think about this possible change and any recommendations you might have for improving the overall Movie Night experience!

I like that idea. I would rather you guys actually like/be interested in the movies you’re picking than just picking the most popular. I will say tho that I might be a tiny bit sad if the movies I love don’t get picked bc I won’t get to see y’all react to it, but it’s all good, I’ll get over it lol

I like this idea of us just voting on a movie you guys picked from our suggestions/genre polls because I feel like you can kill two birds with one stone. You’ll be able to get to movies that you guys have been wanting to watch.

I’m so glad our thoughts have been heard. 🙏🏼 Thank you, RT!! I really like the new idea! Plus, it’ll hopefully save you all a bunch of time on counting all the likes on a crazy amount of comments. Love it 💜 Also, if you all have a movie you really want to watch and react to, you should feel totally free to do so without any input from the Patreon polls or suggestions at all. It’s nice to have some input here and there, but it’s ultimately your channel and you all deserve primary creative control 🎬

Also, it’d be so cool if you guys had Letterboxd accounts! It’s a great way to track, rate, and organize movies! You can create an ongoing watchlist that’s super easy to sort and filter by genre, rating, and time of release. I’ve been using it since 2019 and I love it! It’s basically also a form of social media because you can follow people and see what they’re watching! I’m sure a lot of us would love to follow you on there!

Love the new idea. It would be great if you guys picked a movie that you all want to watch as well. I wouldn't mind if y'all just picked a movie yourselves even if it's a movie that's never been suggested. It'll be nice to see what movies or shows you guys are really interested in. I think a balance of polls and you guys just picking a movie without any input from us would be the best.

Exactly, that way the community can see what films they already watched and it would help us not recommend them things they've already seen as well. Of course, Rob's will probably be the longest and I'd be excited to see it XD
