Yes Bryce, that Lawyer guy looked familiar cause he was the reporter who took pictures secretly in Attorney Woo. I agree with y'all on the whole Ye Seol thing. She is such a sweet and pure child even though her biological parents are evil people. Maybe cause Do Young takes care of her a lot which is why she takes after him. See you for next reaction.

the resume was the nurse that dong eun met up with from her old high school! she got her a job at his practice ^_^

I just finished the show today and whew it was a crazy ride

I assumed Yeon-jin was placating Jae-joon when she kissed him back bc she didn't want to be strangled and assaulted again. Hence her opening her eyes and like Bryce said wasn't actually into it... Plus probably thinking how fucked she is because Jae-joon knows now

I'd say it's more of a form of manipulating him to her advantage so that he would still be in her favor by staying in love with her despite hiding their daughter's birth secret, if that makes sense lol

rachele

Definitely, that too! Forsure makes sense. She’s gonna continue the affair or some level of it I think (i haven’t watched past this episode). But it wouldn’t be gaslighting in this scenario, just other manipulation tactics

Just helping you guys out - Jaejun didn't call Yesol a freak, he held himself back from saying she was 'f-ing smart' - Netflix translations changed the subtitle to 'freak-' and then cut it off to show that. Of course, he completely doesn't hold back when the car behind him causes him to have an outburst of expletives 🤣 It just shows how shortlived his ability to hold himself back is although he tries to 'be good' around her. Anyhow, hope you guys continue to enjoy the show!

Ashley K

Yeah I re-read my initial comment and quickly edited to manipulating right before you replied lol :P but I meant keeping him at her advantage not for the sake of continuing their affair, but for the sake of her husband not finding out that she's not his real daughter and risking her current "happy" life. She doesn't care about Jaejun that much.

I’m glad someone else said it 😂 I didn’t feel like writing it out

Ms Moon is gathering allies.. An ex-maid who turns out to be an expert detective, a doctor who is ready to kill at a snap of Ms. Moon's finger, and now the nurse who knows the entire history and is ready to risk, even her job for Ms. Moon. Yeon Jin and company should really brace for whatever's coming LOL...

rachele

Yes I agree I mean it that way too. That is just my prediction in order to protect herself. She knows she's fucked and is scared for her marriage and relationship with her daughter. She def does not care about Jaejun lol

About Yeo-Jong's interest and dedication to Dong-Eun: * The thing with his dad obviously fucked him in the head. Let's just say he's not exactly logical. * He might also feel amazed that someone would go so far for revenge (like him). She's like his muse and is definetly impressed at how she plays the game and expects to learn from her for his own revenge. * When he was at his lowest, he did mention that Dong Eun was the only thing that gave him some peace. He might be deperately holding onto that as well. As we can see, therapy was not helping, so he decided to full-force facing it head on.

I think you guys get hung up on some of the dialogue too literally, when Dong-Eun tells Yeo-Jong that she needs an executioner not a prince and someone to join her in the sword dance that is figurative language. And because she is being figurative Yeo-Jong response in a similar fashion by saying he will kill for her or obey her royal commands. I think he is just saying he will do want she needs. Also, I don't think Dong-Eun has to play that game of Go with Yeo-Jong, it is just a way to show him that she is ok without having to call or text him. If she uses his place and places a piece on the board then he knows she has been there and is alright. Hope that makes sense, loving the reactions!

She’s not a maid lol
