Yeah Mikey and draken need to hurry up because this situation is just all bad

They didn’t jump in to help Mitsuya fight Taiju cuz Mitsuya told them it was his fight now. Kinda like when Pah fought in Season 1 and got beaten up and Mikey did not step in til after Pah could no longer fight. Tomen has that kind of code of honor. Also Hakkai can not beat Taiju in a one on one hand to hand combat which is why he is so scared of him and wouldn’t fight him. He was confident with the knife cuz it’s a sure way to kill Taiju and it’s not about who’s stronger. That’s why Hakkai says “Even I can do this” because killing someone with a knife has been implied this episode to be for those that are weak.
