yesss their first kiss was so weird… but it’s a classic kdrama kiss with the eyes WIDE OPEN😭

one major thing for you guys to get used when watching older kdramas, mostly romcoms, is the wide eyed open first kiss 😭 its so common that you get used to it even though its cringey lmaoo

Jane Thomas

I can’t!! Your reaction to their kiss was hilarious😂 yea that was really cringe

I watched this when it was first airing and it's still one of my favorite kdramas ever 😍

just thought i'd mention a little nuance that makes it a bit funnier. when jun-hyung sees bok-joo with her male coworker for the first time, she calls the guy "oppa" (which I'm sure you guys have heard at some point). It's a term that women use to call guys that are older than them (but still in the same age range) that they have a close relationship with and based on context it has different meanings (ie. an older brother or an older boyfriend). in this instance by her calling him oppa it tells jun-hyung that she's already close with him and sometimes it can be seen as a flirty/endearing term when women are trying to get closer or are already close to men

Karel

yesss. it makes a lot more sense when the viewers know the context. the english subtitles at that part seemed so odd, as if jun-hyung is jealous over a very small thing lol

off topic, I would love to see y'all react to the the actress playing Bok Joo in Cheese in the Trap. Like the. complete 180 on her acting is hilarious to witness.

crnrds

Bryce yelling “WHAT” when they kissed like on the show was hilarious haha

Fun fact: actor that plays Junhyung and actor that plays part time coworker are best friends irl

Junhyung: “You’ll only ruin my wedding. Instead, why don’t you stand beside me?” The worst she can say is no— Bokjoo: “Why would I stay in your wife’s spot?!”
