john is least for me atm. Matt doesnt bother me. Hes human, he doesnt understand this world, his sister is gone, his best friend left without an explanation and his mother is a mess, he just found out his gf is a vampire which he thinks is the reason vikki is gone. When i first watched the show i thought he was annoying like how he acted with caroline n elena but besides that weird storyline, when i matured i realized how accurate his character is for a human in a world like this where nothing is explained and all you get is pain and confusion. His hatred in the fandom is def exaggerated IMO, lots i feel are influenced to hate him immediately when they start the show. When you take a second to think about matt and what he goes through ALONE, makes u rethink. Now i will agree he has annoying moments but do i think he deserves the most hate out of ALL characters in the entire show? No. Def not with the rest of the characters in this universe.

Isobel isn’t any different than Damon. If there’s sympathy for Damon then there should be for her. They are both monsters but there is no doubt that human Isobel loved Elena. Life got the best of her which I believe was her motivation to become a vampire. I don’t think she was a bad person but she was always looking for a place to belong. In the end, you can see that deep down, vampire Isobel cared for Elena as well but she was rejecting her humanity therefor rejecting Elena. Her actions before her death lets us into her psyche. Great reaction guys!

Futuristic Girl

I don't like Uncle John at all, but I do find it weird how no one can give him empathy when they're much worse characters in this show. You can find him annoying, but I think where he's coming from isn't that unreasonable. Damon and Stefan are far from perfect. Them being with Elena doesn't change that.
