Fairy chibi reveal + Devlog #094 + NPC poll #08 is on! (Patreon)

Fairy! Smol!
I wanted to focus as much as possible on the cutscenes this month, so I figured it would be a good time to draw the fairy chibis. Since she's so small, it took a bit less time ^^
Thankfully unlike Kobold last month her design isn't too intricate, so there weren't really any details I had trouble representing on these sprites. The face was still a bit of a challenge, but I figured it out! I did choose to give her only one grape for the chibis instead of the two she has in her full sprite though.
So yeah, once again very happy with the result! I especially like the KO sprite, it's always fun to figure out something silly for that one ^^

I actually don't have a whole lot to say this time. Other than this chibi, I did absolutely nothing but work on the cutscenes!
And I made a LOT of progress! There were still small things I had to fix along the way here and there, but way less than last time. Nothing really worth mentioning either, it was usually stuff like the dialogue box not appearing in the right spot under some specific conditions, or secondary dialogue boxes (when several characters speak at the same time) not disappearing because I was looking for a 2D array instead of a 1D one. Or minor sprite corrections here and there.
It turns out my prediction was correct for once: I finished the majority of the cutscenes this month! The few that are left all have some sort of special challenge when it comes to making them. 2 of them in particular are very important cutscenes, and are going to be a pain in the ass, but it'll be very worth it!
If everything goes well, I should be done with these cutscenes sometime between the 15th and the 20th of this month. I'll draw the next chibi sets after that since I don't want to be disctracted from the cutscenes right now. Then, it'll be time to make new rooms!
I actually already made one because of one of the cutscenes, and it turned out even better than I expected. It was a great way to test a few things with the room editor, too ^^

And that's pretty much all I have right now... It feels great to have new finalized content, but it's a bit difficult to talk about it without spoiling things, like back when I was still drawing the new areas.
The next devlogs probably will probably be on the shorter side too to be honest, at least until I'm done with the cutscenes and rooms!
