Devlog #056 (Patreon)

Hi!

As promised, here is Rose's new design! I'd say it's a huge improvement over her last sprite, I'm very happy with it. This shows her 2nd and 3rd ranks. Now, you might notice something a little different if you look closely...

Do you see it? Turns out the B in BE can also stand for Butt :B

Some characters (not all) will have not only their breast, but also their butt grow larger as they rank up. The focus is still on the boobs, but it will happen here and there. In fact, there might even be some other changes if I feel like it! :)

Other than that, I have been looking into a way to get BE Witches funded, at least partially. I'm not saying it will happen, but if it does, I might just be able to work full time on it. I'm not making any promise here, but man, that would be the best! Of the course the Patreon would still be up and the character voting event would still happen (probably even sooner in fact). I've been thinking about new ways to make the patreon more interesting, and I got a few ideas, but I'll wait until the next demo to do a big renovation of the Patreon and Itch.io pages, which is also when the early bird status will stop being available, I think.

Anyway, that's all in the future. I've now begun working on the game's environments which is somewhat of a new thing for me, but it's very interesting. There will be one totally new character next update, and maybe some environment stuff, we shall see.

Finally here is a question I got :

Q : You mentioned that you'd be able to change breast sizes whenever, but I thought that you would originally need to meet certain conditions in order to increase the size (like rank up). Which will it be? In my opinion, needing to meet certain conditions to increase cup size is more rewarding, and gives good motivation to the player. 

A :  Both are correct actually, sorry I wasn't clear enough. Let's say your rank up from rank 1 to rank 2 after clear the conditions. You will then be rank 2 until your rank up again, and you will be able to freely switch between the rank 1 size and the rank 2 size. You won't be able to switch to rank 3 size until you are rank 3, and so on.
