- Go to AppData\Local

Edit 1: The spells Loyon om and Loyon sen would crash the game. This has been fixed, as well as their description! The download link has been updated, and your save should work as is with this fixed build if you were playing on the previous 2024 06 01 build.

Edit 2: A bug causing the game to crash when opening the almanach during the same game session as when finishing the tutorial has been fixed! Other non game crashing bugs have been fixed as well, like one that caused the amount of defeated shark shapes to reset to 0 when loading, one that prevented boss info from showing up in the almanach, and one that caused alt color spells to deal damage of the color of the base spell (For example, Vuu's purple fire spell would cause red damage).
The download link has been updated, and your save should work as is with this fixed build if you were playing on the previous 2024 06 01 build.

Ah shoot, sorry about that... Someone else reported this crash before but missed the error log, so I was a bit at a loss as to how to reproduce it. This will help a lot, I'll fix that ASAP! Thank you very much for reporting it!

Just wanted to say I just played through the entire game and I gotta hand it to ya! It's amazing, its extremely fleshed out as it is. The game could be made easier via the secret passage switches being a bit more obvious, the puzzles being a bit easier, and maybe an aftergame hint system for the orbs? Cause lemme tell you it took a couple hours staring at my screen to see what button was hiding. I do have a couple questions now that I beat it. 1. Is it possible to find the Lantern Lady more consistently? I found her 1 time that wasn't scripted. 2. Does this version include an option to fight the enemies and bosses at a higher rank level to see them bigger?

Thank you very much! Exploration related stuff is what needs the most work at this point. Some secrets are too well hidden as you said, some of the earlier puzzles will be reworked a bit and a hint system will be implemented to avoid getting stuck on non optional puzzles. This is all stuff I'm working to have in place in the next build! ^^ You can also take a look at the walkthrough if you'd like: https://www.patreon.com/posts/92141393 As for your questions: 1. She can only appear in rooms where random encounters can occur! Keep walking around in dungeons and you're sure to run into her. Fei catalysts (can be bought in Biscotti) also affect NPC encounter rates! 2. There is no way to rank the enemies up in this build, but every enemy can be revived by Liv (Lantern Lady) and join your party, where you can then rank them up as you would Vuu. Thank you again! ^^

Thanks for the information! To add some specifics it was the Fungal Tunnels that stumped me. At this point, I had looked at the walkthrough to find where to begin my search and was amazed I had missed a quarter of the map! Otherwise, the starting area and tower weren't that bad, I knew by game design that there were secrets I was gonna miss and accepted they might be end game secrets and found them fairly simply afterward. As for the forest, the drag through a path puzzles were my most difficult to complete naturally. My easiest solution to those is simply allowing arrow keys to move them or similar (If that's already possible then ignore this!) But I am in love with the combat and storyline so far, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

nosebecc

Aw thank you! Yeah I figured the tunnel's buttons were the ones you referred to, these are the worst offenders without a doubt ^^' Mmh, I know the forest puzzles are something others have struggled with as well... I can't say using the arrow keys was something I'd thought of for these, but it could work yeah... Thank you, I'll look into that! ^^

I’m so lost when it comes to what to do when you get to the windmill in Biscotti when there’s a bubble over everything. Would someone please help me figure this puzzle out?

nosebecc

Sorry about that, this part isn't fully fleshed out yet! You will need to go to the abandoned house on the east side of Biscotti. You can open it by smashing the stake on top of the house. There are more steps after that but I'll stop there in case you want to figure out the rest yourself! If not, you can take a look at the walkthrough which will tell you what to do: https://www.patreon.com/posts/92141393

Feedback from a casual player. I can't enjoy this game it's way too difficult. I had to do the angel fight multiple times, nearly died every time I fought the ghost. can't solve the puzzle to get me to the puzzle that will allow me into the city. I came here cause it has my favorite inflation BE but it's not often enough and so much work has to be put in to get one rank and that's the only time you get the inflation. The game idea is sound and the story is not bad but I can't bring myself to enjoy it

nosebecc

I just added a difficulty slider, and I should have a hint system for non optional puzzles in place soon. Both of these features will be in the next build. That being said BE is an important part of the game, but it's definitely a slow burn. I understand that's not everyone's cup of tea! Thank you for your feedback!
