Patron Rewards: Art Pack, February 2022 (1080p) (Patreon)

Dear Patrons, 

                         It's with great pleasure that we present to you, an exclusive access into the headway we made in the month of February: Art Pack February, 2022.

We start off with the usual sneak peak behind the scenes content that includes Myrm Nest render, Xaide Dungeon entrance and new NPCs being unveiled that are central to the upcoming slime side quest. Talking of NPCs, generic open world interactive characters got the special silhouette skin treatment as well whereby when interacting with them you will see the dark outline of their race/gender instead of... well, nothing!

As you might have noticed by now, quite a few of the art pieces we share with you in these art packs do not reflect assets that will be present in the game itself. Yet, they are very close to the intended thing. That's because our artist work methodology is to doodle and then refine the intended concept before making the version for the game.. That way not only does it help the team to evaluate and tinker with the proposed idea but it also helps him improve his skill as an artist overall.

Unfortunately, even though art is just one integral part of a larger gaming development cycle, it's also the most attractive and easier on the eyes. If we were to showcase the entire progress, right from storyboard to under the hood code chaos, you'd be bored out of your minds. PS: Starting next month, we're going to consider moving our patreon reward date a bit forward. The goal is to give enough time for our patrons to enjoy their rewards in their own free time instead of worrying about losing access to it in a few hours if they decide to withdraw pledge for any reason whatsoever. As usual, we'll deliberate on this further to find the optimal release time frame and keep you updated!
