The physicist in me always wonders: OK, the "spell" keeps your neuron spark gaps, your oxygen-molecule-sized lung holes and etc a consistent size, so the shrinking doesn't kill you on the spot: But where does the mass go? Inter-dimensional storage?

Is it weird that I find the frazzled wolf lady in the center the most attractive of the bunch?

That's a tough concept. I ran into the same issue with one of my earlier stories, about a guy who meets a Kitsune. Her forms were a small fox and a large Fox-or-Human woman. At one point the guy, an architectural engineer, asked her where the mass went in her small form. Her response? "What part of 'magic' do you not understand?"

Pocket dimensional, actually. We haven’t fully mapped out how the brain works, so keep it at the same size but connected through a portal similar of that of Doctor Who’s TARDIS (it’s bigger on the inside). Some extra setup for keeping the brain alive is required (since much lower resources available) unless advanced mapping occurs that allows for brain matter optimization. Alfred C Clarke once wrote “Advance technology is indistinguishable from magic.”

I have a few witches that would like to give the Roslyn bunch a few lessons on the idea of "consent.
