Huh....suppose I should have stuck an establishing shot of Triumph Tower in there, but it's basically a large glass-and-steel skyscraper with some stepped penthouses at the top. You see 'em in every big city.

Ah. Okay, then. It comes together. They aren't loyal, they're mercenary, and the client is nowhere near the tower, it just happens to have the closest helipad (and they have enough on the ball to know they want to spend as little time as possible within reach of the Mink in case she gets free). That was a very lucky wrong call by Melody.
