Desert Maps: Tokens (Patreon)

Another desert map? Well.. kind of! This map was made using a bunch of desert tokens! I was looking back at the desert map series and realized that I wanted to change up the way I draw my maps a little bit. Most of the time (planar maps not really included) I draw certain things other and over again when I could just draw tokens for those objects, like palm trees for example. I will still be drawing the majority of my maps like I did before but tokens help when I need to add a few extra bits and pieces that I forgot to add during the drawing stage. 

Not only that but tokens like this are a fantastic way for anyone using my maps to add in details of their own!

I would certainly miss the shadows if I drew all my maps like this!

I also never added or drew a single cactus in any my desert maps, which is a little strange. And I changed the way I draw palm trees to make them more detailed!

I’ve been a little ill over the last few days, so I’m taking it easy but still drawing when I can! Back to drawing the planes over the next few days. :)
