Planar Maps: Limbo (Patreon)

Today's map is Limbo! The plane of chaotic neutral alignment, a place where everything is in constant motion and change, especially the landscape, which can shift unpredictably and randomly change between liquid solid, and gas. 

Limbo is home to the Slaad, a particularly dangerous and evil creature that delights in corrupting and spreading themselves across the cosmos. I used this map as an opportunity to make a few tokens!  

This isn't really a tutorial but I thought I would share how I made them. My wonderful girlfriend did a few quick sketches to start things off. I’m terrible at form and pose for characters, at least getting things started anyway! (Check out her stuff here! https://ktechnicolour.deviantart.com/)

I then went over her sketches, adding detail and tidying things up before inking them.

I then coloured them in line with the most current versions of the Slaad from the 5th edition monster manual. I also made a few colour variants just in case people want to create some named characters or add some variety. :)
